Higgins` head used to come up before he`d finished the shot which is what they tell you not to do but he was still a fantastic player. `82 was his greatest year, beating Jimmy White in a great semi-final & then Ray Reardon in the final.

the blue went nicely in , but that cue ball hit the blue very thick therefore it would move further right but it didnt , it moved towards the right but then turn left again and due to the left hand side effect if turned left and hit the pink. How do you do that ? I top spin with left hand side wont work , a swerve shot with a left hand side might be the clue.

Ronnie and co wouldnt have a clue about that type of shot great post, Higgins very nasty off the table though has been barred out of more hotels than one can imagine, still he cant help being a C**T I suppose

the pink has gone safe !!! ....not so long . This shot is beautiful because playing side for a middle pocket and poting the blue and hitting the pink, wonderful and innovative

How about it indeed. The game needs more like him. If it weren't for Ronnie, I think perhaps I wouldn't want to watch snooker anymore. Many critisise him for his off table antics and rightly so, but fuck, wasn't he good to watch.
