I love the product and design. I might get one, but not sure if I'll keep it on all the time as I like to move the TrackPad around quite a bit, separate from my keyboard. Worth a try though.

Nice idea, absolutely.

But it does make it hard to turn on/off the keyboard if the magic pad is on the right side.

Now why would you turn your keyboard on/off would someone say.

Well, call me crazy but I mainly use my Mac Mini as a media center.

I don't use it every day, sometimes not even every week.

Thats why I turn the keybord off when I don't use it.

I doubt that. The keyboard goes into sleep mode. But there must be something drawer power, otherwise the keyboard wouldn't be able to turn it self on when you start typing.

Even in "off-mode" it consumes power.

I say that because it has a powerbutton that isn't like a switch that cuts off power from the batteries.

Even the manual for Apple Wireless Keyboard states:

"To conserve battery power, turn your keyboard off when you aren’t using it."
