Im from England but im suppose to be going over to Fort Collins next year sometime to visit my friend... it looks like a really nice place but just wondering is there alot of things to do for someone my age. 18?
@JoelWolfy - Lots of stuff to do, just depends on your interests. FC has a good music scene for a city of its side. Check out The Aggie and Hodie's Half Note. Also see what's available at Colorado State University and the Lincoln Center. If you like outdoors, there's lots of hiking available in Fort Collins' systems of parks and open areas. Also take a look at the hikes to Horsetooth Rock. Bike paths and trails galore. In general, check out CSU's offerings. Legal drinking age is 21.
I am a student at CSU and love Fort Collins. The pros are well highlighted in the video, but I would also include that the cost of living is much less than Boulder or Denver. Also, it is relatively undiscovered, so a nature hike actually includes nature. I went hiking in Boulder recently and I saw more people than I would at a mall. Cons would be that the entire city does not look like this video. While there are many pretty homes and beautiful areas, many of the homes will not win any awards
it really is like this here, bikes are everywhere (awesome), and the people are genuinly nice, plus culture to boot! I have lived here 7 years, and would not choose another place in America to live....besides Hawaii.
I live in the hellhole known as Orlando, FL. Getting out later this year because I just can't stand it anymore. Fort Collins is a possibility. To think, I'll be able to ride a bike without being told to "Move it, fatass."
@MysteryoftheGods It's been a year now since I moved to ft collins, I didn't like it at the beginning because of the snow but It is amazing in the summer. I really love..
@MysteryoftheGods So I grew up in Michigan and moved to several places in the country. I moved to Fort Collins and can tell you that it is amazing. It was ranked 3 years in a row as the best place in the US. I live in Denver, which has its advantages, but I miss Fort Collins so much! If your thinking about moving there do it. But make sure you understand the job market of the area (if your in IT or the restaurant industry than your golden)
