The double chimney was to give avery free exhaust passage and had nothing to do with poor coal. Incidentally, the quality of coal was much better in her hey day than it is now, being mostly Polish and east European rubbish.
this model does not come with one lam in the prossess of puting in one with a chuff n puff just been too busey to finish almost done then it will be on the weather outside to run her check back later

it improved engine performance, normally the cylinder expell the steam through the fire exhaust, whihc chokes down the draft to the fire, having the stacks seperate gave the fire more a draft to help burn the lower qaulity coal.
i am looking at getting the live steam version hopefully, whats its minimum radius curve?
