They sound good but ... damn they're homely. I had the original EC2s and got these when it was time to reskin my kit and the new ones clutter up the kit. Wish they had made them look more clean and less obtrusive.
@sweetestpoison16 First get a good practice pad and some good sticks like Regil tip or M that feel good in your hands .Then on line and here you can start to learn your basic Rudiments .. Then find a GREAT drum teacher . And if your school has a band ,or marching band join right away.
@sweetestpoison16 i would find a drum teacher and then start practincing with him and then when you finally want a drum set you could ask him which one to get. or if you are still in school you could joing the band and get a drum teacher
well man, maybe try lookin into renting a set. like if you know a place with instrument rentals. check em. and see how you feel about it. if you like it, start takin lessons and after takin some lessons set aside some music for a kit. i highly recommend you starting drums. its the most addicting fun thing ever. much luck to ya!

Well the new sst's are worth it but not the old ones. Ive had them both trust me. the sst's are incredible
