I was refering to the dually half of it as a crew cab I do know they made the crew cabs even back to like 68 and earlier but there rare. I just like it being a dually bud wheel system and a crew cab of that year nice setup.
Diesel is awesome, I don't care who builds it, or what truck it goes in. Yes I like powerstrokes because I grew up driving Fords. But I've owned Chevy's too, and do now, along with a Ford in my driveway. Besides if Cummins engines were stupid in a Ford that probably had a 460 cu. in. V8 before then why would so many 18 wheelers and tractors use them. (It probably get's better fuel economy now starters. . . ) Cummins engines are power houses. Just like almost anything else Turbo Diesel.
Who are all these kids that have never seen a '70's model dually? They act like a dually is a new concept or something, thats funny. Be serious you guys
cfsb1234... Cummins builds engines, not trucks so all they can do with their product is put them in other companies trucks. Just as many cummins engines go into fords each year as they do dodge pickups, so whats your problem?
cfsb1234... Why is a Cummins engine in a Ford stupid? Im just dying to hear your fucked up reasoning. Let me guess though, is it because you are used to seeing them in dodge pickups, or maybe your daddy has a dodge with a cummins in it. I bet im right
if so i want one bad big time dude we just today purchased a nice 88 crew cab 7.3 liter diesel truck one ton nice rig too for $1100 its worth at least $5000 under NADA so ya we got a good deal
very sweet ruck im sure the dually part is custom never ever seen a dually ford of that year and obvioulsy the cummins is cutom too you guys did a awsome job in looks and originalilty of it loks like they bbuilt it that way very very nice
Actually the dually part of it is factory. I was at the junkyard awhile back and they had two duallys a 77 and 78. I almost bought both pairs of fenders but I had to many projects goin on at the time.

First time I have seen a Ford that old with a Cummins in it.
What gear are they pulling it in? Usually pulls that short are in high hp trucks, or pulling in a short gear.
