    Four hours was the maximum time the i-gel was used in the initial clinical work.

    Yes there is evidence supporting i-gel use in paediatrics. There have been abstracts presented at the ASA, ESA, SAM and SFAR conferences in 2010.

    Elsewhere on our channel there is an interview with Professor Diemunsch from Strasbourg discussing paediatric i-gel.

    The adult sizes were launched in 2007 and the paediatric sizes in 2010.
