Akathisia is easily treated with high dosages 300mg/day of vitamin B6. I discovered this when I started my son on the b vitamins since he was walking 15 miles/day on my treadmill before introduction of the supplements to verify that this is FACT go to wikipedia and search 'akathisia' and read what it is and what is an effective treatment.
His akathisia was caused by Geodon, and B6 300mg/day is EFFECTIVE for this and do add HUGE amounts of other b vitamins like niacin, folate + magnesium

how about a child, who was born "normal", and no one can tell us WHY he has frontal lobe abnormalitys...makes you want to scream...no, he was never shaken, he suffers from hypotonia, aparixia, dyspraxia, agression issues and possiblely pschyc. syndrome....can you say HELP!!! I love my grandson, and I can't find him help!!
You have to get vitamins and minerals that are GREAT FOR THE BRAIN into his body NOW so google 'brain magnesium', 'folate brain', 'b6 brain' , 'b12 brain' , 'fish oil brain',,,,,,,,,,,get them into his body and try boosting dopamine in his brain naturally or by medications like Ritalin!
google this 'antipsychotics brain volume' and be shocked so DO NOT PUT ANY ANTIPSYCHOTIC DRUG INTO HIS BODY because I don't why you would think he is psychotic just because he's mean or irritable,
