@SHROOMZuDOG Indeed, the demo itself, actually had quite a problem in the balancing department. I grinded to see how far I get my characters developed in 2 hours. Ended up having 5 ATB gauges by the time I finished. That really made me feel over-power. But thank you for the compliment.

I've just recently become a fan of FF. I bought FF 13 because I wanted to play that before I played this. I don't see why so many people complain about 13. It's an awesome game. The cut scenes are a little long and aside from battle there isn't really much to do, but I don't get all the hate. Either way I'm happy I became a fan of FF, and can't wait to play this one.

I am loving the demo. The battle system is essentially the same, but now you can use different beasts/monsters/machines as your third party member.

But the thing i really like the most is being able to talk to people and get side quests.

I can already see reviews giving this way better score than XIII.

@iJordyGaming Yeah you actually have to be a youtube partner to have a customized subscribe logo. But you can make the custom thumbnail yourself and put it on videos that go together like a playlist. Idk if you know how to become a youtube partner but im going to tell you anyway! For ex. If you make alot of walkthroughs and they all get around 50 000 views or so and you have a good amount of subs then you can apply to be a youtube partner and if you get more subs you get youtube money.

@GrimHeaperThe I wasn't aware they were making a third. But still, I think XIII-2 might end up selling better than XIII, most likely not at first, but over time. Versus is dependent on one of the other development teams, and I don't think the FFXIII-2 team could have just waltzed in and helped with FFVersusXIII even if they wanted to. There are restriction I assume. So for those who made FFXIII-2 it's either make another game, or sit there in the offices and do nothing. :P

@FlickWindrunner Names are just names really. It doesn't really matter to me whether a black mage is called a ravager, just like it doesn't matter whether it's bolt3 or thundaga. Flight is difficult in these new games, so you'll have to give the airships time to reappear in the franchise. Even FFX didn't have a traditional system of world navigation. And like I always say, people who complain about auto-battle are only forcing themselves to use it. You can choose your own moves for a challenge.

@GrimHeaperThe XIII-2 isn't necessarily trying to be original. It's a game based on the fact that people weren't liking the different things they brought in FFXIII. The old fans wanted old systems and concepts, which is why FFXIII-2 is getting a slightly better feedback thus far. And the enemies being invisible is kind of a hybrid of old and new. Enemies pop up out of nowhere like in the old FF's, but here you can see them on the field so you can choose to run beforehand. It' pretty nice IMO.

I miss the old Final Fantasy games ; ; why is a black mage called revenger and a white mage a medic... I want to get on my airship and fly around the world looking for secrets, I want to control all the chars, changing stance to heal and to deal damage while spamming auto-battle is really boring for me, it looks stunning and cool and I will buy it, but I miss the older ones I hope Final Fantasy 15's battle system is different.

Then again the FF fanbase is a bunch of hypocrites, making arguements on anything considered "good". 13 was a decent game in franchise. 13-2 being much better. Also, yeah more modern games have been becoming simpler and simpler to play. Mass Effect had a huge overall haul that removed many of the menus and customization elements which made the first such a good RPG. The choices made were strictly business if anything. The simpler to grasp, the larger the audience.

I have the demo, and just from playing it, I can already say I like it better than 13. The new options, battle choices, customizations, cinematic action, pretty much everything, except that enemies appear out of nowhere, and you have that retarded compass thing that determines whether to battle them or not. Looking forward to it!

It's funny, one of the major things people pointed out in FF13 is the linear gameplay... they tried fixing that with this game, but now from what I hear in FF13-2, people say the game is now too complex or too easy to get lost.

@GrimHeaperThe X-2 ruined what might have been an improvement. The combat was interesting with the return of the job system, but let's not bring up the story. XIII-2 seems to want only to fix the problems of it's first iteration, to which I can't complain. The invisible enemies aren't too bad considering they give you plenty of time to run, or get that preemptive strike. But your right, sometimes a sequel is a waste. Well, except for FFIV the After Years. That was fun.
