hmmm i wander if my cat is a bengal.. same colouring with stripes and spots on his belly. he is like a dog, insanely curious and really funny. he comes when i call and whistle to him and follows me round the house when im mowing the lawns. isnt scared of the big loud lawn mower at all!!! hes still a cat though, loves bean bags, boxes and chin scratches!!!
@NZtricolor Sounds like my kitties - yours could well be a bengal! Another typical characteristic of bengals is that they don't like being stroked on their head when you approach them from the front...they don't like the hand approaching from the front. My two have never liked it...always have to approach from the side!
It sounds like it wants out of the snow. It could be like water to him, but it can be very fun to him. Or is it a her? Whatever, it is having a fun or having a bad time in the snow. I dunno how bengal cats meow when they have fun, and how they meow when they want out of a tub filled with water. You know what I mean, right?
Hiya! I know what you're saying - but if she had wanted out of the snow, she's an incredibly silly kitty as she walked right out into it from the wamth of our kitchen (the door to the warm house was kept open and only 3m away while she pranced about!). Trust me - she loves it, whenever it snows she's raring to get out into it (just for short bursts mind you!). ;o)
My cat is a calico cat, and she just likes snow, but she hates the cold. She's only on the window with a sweater on, and she wants off instantly. There wasn't much snow to see though, and she was looking at an ugly backlane lol.
what the hell is up with these bengal cats?! . I have been watching numerous videos of them and they are like dogs. They are the coolest cats I've ever seen :D . I saw one in a bathtub...WITH WATER mmhm :O .
they're not very domestic, they're f1 f2 and so on, each one represents how many generations they are from the wild. You should see savanah cats though, they're HUGE.
I don't think this or any of the bengals here are that close to the first ones, that is the f1 or f2 or even f5, the firtst pure bengals are from the begining of the 1980.
Now they do count as domestic, otherwise we woulden't be able to buy them.
I assure you she was loving it! The door to the warm house was open, she chose to go out, and she could have gone back in at any time! That's her excited meow. She also loves water. Her bro was standing in the doorway and didn't fancy it - he's not very adventurous and hates water.
They do, they're cats with a personality like dogs! They love attention, are always playful, and are extremely curious little things! Most love water as well - Honey...who's in the video...loves to drown her toys in her water bowl. :o)
Look at that fluffy tail...she's on the hunt! My Bengal boy has been going crazy wanting a walk on his leash for the last few days so today I'm planning on taking him out for a little time in the snow.
Funnily enough, I know her very well! She's a Bengal - Bengals ADORE water. Bengals have many different sorts of meows - this is her excited meow. The door to the house was open, she chose to go out into the snow and was bouncing about in it as happiest I've ever seen her. Our male cat stayed in the house and didn't want to come outside - he's also a Bengal but happens not to like playing with water and things that make him wet!
"what is this stuff? what is it? its wet and cold but i like it!"

Bengals are curious and vocal about everything. This cat was clearly intrigued and checking it out.

If the cat hated it, it would have been shaking its legs and lifting them up to get as little snow as possible on them...

what's f1 and f2 mean ? :\ . lol I have seen them savannah. They are bigger than some dogs in my area -_- .
jraybay 3 years ago
it means how many generations they are from the wild, an f1 means one of its parents were wild, f2 mean a grandparent etc.
