  • i live down the street from the ranch house and it is pretty much the same. i would say the biggest loss would be the pool :(

  • @SuperAwsome94 Wow!

  • @SuperAwsome94 what is your name????

  • @SuperAwsome94 You can see my name on all my videos and on this vid. My name is James Davey

  • its in bad shape I LIVE ABOUT 50 MILES NORTHEAST OF WELLS AND WE FELT THE QUAKE WHEN IT HAPPEND I HAVE SOME VIDEO UNDER CJUNIQUES ON HERE IF YOU WANT TO SEE MORE

  • I live by Carson City, Nevada and did not feel anything. If you remember the year 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake that collapsed the Nimitz Freeway in Oakland California and collapsed part of the Oakland Bay bridge that was a 7.1 earthquake and I was living just a few miles from the epicenter of it and was 6 years old at the time. That Loma Prieta Earthquake was pure insanity.

  • It,s REALLY small amazing how it could get so famous huh?

  • Yep

  • Hey, Guys I actually live in wells. I'm not kidding. It was crazy. If you want any information just post a comment.

Oh, yeah it might take me awhile so be patient

  • Yea I have passed through Wells many times over the years on road trips. Wells is located right there high way 80 and 93 interset. Its nuts how such a small town could get so famous over night.

BTW: I lived through the 1989 Loma Preta earthquake in California when the Nimitz Freeway colapsed and part of the Bay Bridge colapsed, that was total insanity to the max.

  • Wow, this is amazing!! I actually remember seeing a little about this on the news. The pictures are just 'surreal'... looks almost like a sci fi movie where all life has just disappeared. Have they just just completely abandoned the town?? How big was the town-- looks fairly small but sometimes you get the wrong impression!!

  • (sorry for typos above... just one "just" LOL) But wanted to ask too, did you make this on your recent trip, so it is up in the northern part of Nevada??

  • It is in north eastern Nevada not to far from the Nevada/Utah state line. I made this on a recent trip.

  • suprisingly everything is left the way it was from the day it fell. The earthquake hit and then they fenced off the buildings. That town is extreamly small. This was the old historical part of town that was hit by the earthquake, the rest of the town did sustain damage but not nearly as bad as the historical district. You can search youtube for "wells nevada earthquake" to see secrity camera footage that caught the earthquake as it hit in town.

  • Wells, Nevada is insanley small. The population of Wells according to the year 2000 Census was 1,346.

  • Erie how every thing is just sitting there, with nobody around. The sad part of it is that they wont get FEMA money for reconstruction.

  • yep. That was a realy nice town prior to the earthquake. That could sit like that for years.

  • WHOA! Poor people.

  • yep

  • Damn.

  • Yea this place got totally nailed by the earthquake. UP shut down the line through Wells for like 10 hours. According to my Amtrak engineer friend the westbound Zephyr train number 5 made it to around Carlin, Nevada area when the earthquake hit and it had to sit for like 10 or so hours while UP inspected all of the track.
