In my opinion this is the greatest goal that I have ever seen. He chips the ball over the defender's head and kicks in into the net on a volley. What amazing creativity.

All it was, was a lucky bounce and just as easily as it went that way it could have gone another way. This is nothing compared to what Maradona would do many years later and even at the age of 17.

There is only one goal that can beat this one: The Carlos Alberto goal in the 1970 World Cup.
I agree that this was a beautiful goal. But the build-up play and the absolute sync the Brazilian team on that one had was just amazing.
