  • I think you've done a great job raising Hamlet. They are very smart and to the contrary what some people think very clean animals.

  • Now it's not mini !

  • makes me happy you and him :) Yeah being warm would melt in his mouth

  • is this his full grown?

  • @marshwoodgirl123 Pretty much. He weighed about 49 or 50 pounds in this video. He is now almost two and weighs 53 pounds.

  • August 7 is my birthday too!(: I absolutely love pigs I'm looking at buying a Juliana pig from Texas tiny pigs and was wondering so you know how big they'll get?

  • @Haaalllay The breeder should be able to give you a fairly good estimate of final weight.

  • Mini????

  • I love this pig.... even with his messy chin.

  • I would love to have a pet pig

  • kinda looks like rush limbaugh...

  • @dgilleran xD

  • @dgilleran Hamlet is insulted... :)

  • Aww youre so good to hamlet he loves you so much thats sweet of you to give him a cupcake ^~^

  • @bobby77188710 You'll find out on May 30th! He's about 20.5 months old right now

  • Ummmm... It have a bone blingbling on the neckledd

  • AWWWWW I want one so bad, my boyfriend won't let me. :[

  • How can people eat these intelligent and cute animals D:

  • My birthdays August 7nth too -3 is there any pigs smaller than this I want one!

  • what country do u live? in im very intrested to no if its legal to have a mini pig in the country of california...???

  • @thecrazyjjp I live in the U.S. It really comes down to if your city will allow a pig (and/or home owner's association). States let you own pigs, it's the different city zoning laws you have to watch out for.

  • Oh thx

  • :O It's been a while since I'd seen a video of Hamlet... he's not so mini anymore.

  • what's the normal diet you would give to Hamlet?

  • @kirsti1822 I use NutriSource Mini Pig food. I buy it at Tractor Supply Co. You can also use Mazuri Mini Pig food. I supplement his food with oats, fruit and vegetables.

  • is he still growing or is this as big as thy get?

  • @FriendlyWalrus I've heard they grow for 3 to 5 years. I have not seen too much change since he was a year old though. He weighs about 53 pounds now at 20 months. See some of my more recent videos to see what he looks like now. Pretty much the same.

  • @PiggyGirl2010

It seems you did your homework then! I have a few friends who bought what were supposed to be micro pigs and were told they would grow for 3-5 years. Some less than honest breeders say this to justify the fact that the pig keeps growing and growing and growing...until they essentially have a full size hog on their hands. Lucky for you though if he is staying roughly the same size at this age I would imagine hamlet won't be growing too much more. What a beautiul animal.

  • Was that a pixie pig or a micro pig or a teacup piggy !?!

  • @Horseluver1034 Yes, mini/micro/teacup piggies are only tiny when they are babies. These piggies are little only compared to other types of pigs such as farm pigs (300+ pounds). Hamlet is about the size of a cocker spaniel.

  • about how big do they end up becoming if you get a mini pig?

  • @Singyourheartout324 They can get b-i-i-i-i-g. Like, 150 lbs big. That's "mini" compared to a 1000lb+ farm pig, but there's really no such thing as a "micro" pig.

  • @Singyourheartout324 Mini pigs range in size as there is no true definition of a mini pig. Typically they range from about 30 to 60 pounds. Potbelly pigs range in size from 100 to 150 pounds.

  • He's very cute. I'm glad you're showing him as he grows, so people know they don't stay tiny forever. Some breeders are unscrupulous enough to lie about their adult size. He's still got a few more years of growing to do, but I'm sure you will still love him!

  • @trulypigs I will love him forever! :)

  • So this is the size of a grown up mini pig? I have seen your other videos and thought Hamlet will be as small as in the videos... About 50 lbs.. But now he / she is very big??

  • @felicitously1 Hamlet is 20 months old and 53 pounds. Check out my most recent videos to see him at Christmas time. :)

  • Man, what a pig...

  • LOL, it's funny how humanly he smacks his lips

  • aw! I like his size! I still think he's very cute and lovely, and I'm shocked that people are leaving you nasty comments! I love watchin your videos, Hamlet's fantastic, and I love seeing people care about their pets and treat them nicely! subbed :)

  • @pittielove Happy Holidays from Hamlet and I! :)

  • I think he is a fine looking pig i have had pet pigs all of my life. He is so cute.

  • does he know where to litter?

  • @ZazaCrunch Yes, he is litter box trained. We have one upstairs in our house and the other downstairs. He will also go outside when the weather is nice.

  • I don't wanna be negative but...you pig will die young. He's fat and you don't give him exercise, you must go for a walk with him everyday, and please, DON'T GIVE HIM CANDIES!!!1 that's why he's that fat. people don't know how to take care of a pig, they always get fat.

  • @Ezex01 Hamlet is completely healthy and is at a proper weight. You cannot see his hip bones (sign of underfed) and does not have rolls around his eyes (sign of obesity). Pigs are not dogs, if they don't have a nice round belly something is wrong. It's just the way they're built. He gets plenty of exercise going up and down the stairs, running loops in my house or playing outside. The cupcake was a once-a-year gift for his birthday. He normally gets mini pig food and veggies.

  • @Ezex01 Yeah cuz she probably bought that harness just for this vid...DON'T COMMENT IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE VID!!!111ONEONEONE

  • Oh i really wanted one but after seeing how big and unattractive they get i dont think so

  • @rudeboywhitey cool story, retard

  • @rudeboywhitey A face only a mother could love... and about 250,000 other people. :)

  • @rudeboywhitey Wow....you shouldn't talk about yourself like that.

  • danng it ruins the frosting

  • too cute. My baby girl Kalua's one year is in Feb. she will so get her own cupcake.. Where did you get your harness?? I really want one like that so the tags can go on and I love that it is on the side. we have an h harness that we got from the couple in Dallas that gave us to her and every time we go on a walk it always moves to the side. I would love to have one like yours.

  • @Thaliabelle626 I got it on Amazon. It's called a 'figure-8' dog harness. Happy Holidays!

  • @Thaliabelle626 Hamlet says "Happy Birthday Kalua"!!!!

  • Do you take him for walks, like you would a dog? Like, does he walk on a leash?

  • @XpeaceloverX He really could use some more practice. He walks on a leash but he is very slow. :)

  • That's mini for you? It looks like a freakin dinosaur.

  • @telhacerta Rarrrr! Oink. Rarrrr! Mini compared to a 300 pound farm pig. :) Love, Hamletosaurus

  • @PiggyGirl2010 hahaha, I was just kidding. They grow up really fast.

  • omg I just love it when hes eating the cupcake and wearing his birthday cone hat! (:

  • OM NOM NOM NOM

  • FUCKING GOD!! That pig is enormus O___O

  • Where do i get one of them because he really is a lovely pig x

  • @dani5758 I got Hamlet from a breeder in Texas. Texas Tiny Pigs. There are breeders all over but make sure you do your research because some will sell you a little baby pig but it will grow into a huge pig once it reaches adulthood.

  • omg he is not a mini pig! he is huge! :o

  • @rustyroxy0462 :) Yup, he's my big boy. He is definitely mini in the scheme of pigs but Hamlet falls on the heavier side of the mini pig range. He is about 50 pounds. However, this is pretty close to the estimate the breeder gave me. As you can see in some of my other videos, he is about the same size as a cocker spaniel.

  • Are micro pigs different from mini pigs? If a mini pig grows to that size does that mean a micro pig will be even smaller (if there is any difference). I like the smaller ones better =)

  • @MrSeedyROM I think micro, mini and teacup all refer to the same type of piggy. You can get them in various sizes though. A good breeder should be able to give you a good approximation of how large they will get.

  • i don't have a pig. i just like watching videos of them. (:

  • i wan to celebrate my piggys birthday, what kind of cake should i buy?

  • @ilovepigsandcheese Piggies are fond of ANY kind of cake! I just went for whatever cupcake looked good at the grocery store bakery. :) It truly is a treat for him as he doesn't get any junk food. Only mini pig food and fruits, vegetables and Cheerios for treats. Gotta be careful or you will end up with an obese piggy with health problems.

  • @PiggyGirl2010

okay, i will only give her one a year

  • How did you get him to not run off... My pig runs off and its reaalllyy super hard to catch him.

  • @makemebad344 When he was a baby he would stay right with me and follow me around. Now that he is older he is more independent and is more stubborn. When I have him outside now, I always have his harness on and have him on a leash or at least dragging a leash. In the case of this video, he was motivated to stay in the yard because of the cupcake. :)

  • my pig bites me

  • @mvwarrior24 How old is your piggy? When they are little they get very confused and think fingers may be teats. Make sure you correct him every time he bites. A little smack to the snout is how I correct biting. For everything else I use a squirt to the face with a water bottle. You must stop this behavior early before their teeth get bigger and jaw gets stronger. Good luck!

  • You've made him fat. He just had to be spoiled because he is so cute. LOL.

  • hamlet and i share the same birthday! and a love for cupcakes, especially blue ones. ♥

  • adorable! which breeder did you get him from?

  • @gauchochica06 I got Hamlet from Texas Tiny Pigs. They are great! I highly recommend them.

  • happy b-day

  • Chew with your mouth closed mister!

  • Approx how much did Hamlet weigh here? He looks like the size of a spaniel?

    -mary

  • @TheMarymw Hi Mary! Hamlet is about 50 pounds here (full grown). You are correct, he is about the size of a spaniel. Spaniels his size weigh a lot less but piggies are much denser than dogs.

  • Happy Birthday Hamlet!!!!!!

  • awe Hamlet is so stinking cute!!

  • Hamlet is part juliani and part vietnamese potbelly. Not sure the ratio though.

  • What breed of pig is hamlet? His colors are so pretty!

  • @CODISims2 Hamlet is part juliani and part vietnamese potbelly. Not sure the ratio though.
