They're only purpose is to attract the masses because "it has a fancy quad-core cpu". I'm not even a Sony fan, I love Nokia and I'll never buy this, just not my thing. But being objective I have to say that this is a ultimate smartphone. You say you won't buy because of the dual-core -.-

@tbsbattousai Lots of computer programs(games) dont even use quad cores today. Quad cores are not even fully used on PC's so trust me phones will not need quadcores for several years. A dual core will suffice for all apps, until the day they decide to make battlefield 3 on a phone :D

Although i don't really think many of the smartphone do not require such performance power like the SGS2. I would go over top quality and after-sale support over performance anytime. This phone in my opinion is the complete package...design, camera , screen , hardwear...materials from which is made.......

Like i said i like a lot the S2, it's great , but i just don't like the crappy batery case...it's just cheap plastic...and the problem is it feels that way

@alex180384 pretty much what moosazoras1 said, the Exynos Dual core chip found in the Galaxy S2 is the still the most powerful Dual core chip. Clock speeds mean nothing. It is all about the efficiency and power of the chip. Qualcomm (Scorpion Architecture) can not compete with Exynos SoC. Don't waste your money on this phone. The only thing that it has over the Galaxy S 2 advantage wise is the 12 mp camera. The camera on the Galaxy S2 is good enough though.

I see your point...i like S2, but i don't like the crappy plastic case, the fact that it heats up when you are playing a game...but it performs very good, and for browsing it's the best i've had. But I like more Bravia Engine in comparison with amouled plus, the 8 mp camera from my s2 is not as good as the 8 mp camera on arc s, ...so the 12 mp camera from xperia s should be very good...also very nice designs for sony phones (just my opinion)...also what is you opinion about motorola razr?
