  • I came in contact with this style a couple of years ago in a Bangkok taxi and it made the normally tedious journey from Suvarnabhumi downtown very pleasant. I've been trying to find it in BKK but not been succesful, maybe if I am lucky I can get back into that lime green cab once more...

  • dats awesome. I was in Pattaya in 2006 and it was the Kings aniverasry to the throne. There was a group playing issaan down the beach. It was awesome. They were playing it really fast. Where can I hear fast issan?

  • Thanks for sharing! It is wonderful to see such traditional instrument that Lao issan people still enjoy playing everyday. Long-lived Lao-Issan people that we all share the same culture, food, language, and ways of life. We all eat sticky rice, Koy and Lap.

  • I spent a year in Udon Thani, courtesy the USAF. I think about Thailand often and miss it very much. A part of my heart will always be there.
