btw, I noticed you scroll the screen on your minimap alot, is there no camera save? In starcraft and warcraft III you can hotkey some place on the map with the F2-F9 keys if I remember correctly. Anyway I enjoyed the video :p

Hi, I just beat Warcraft: Orcs vs Humans and I have moved onto this. I really like both games and was just wondering, is there a way to create subgroups (as in assign a numerical hotkey to a group of warriors, like you could in Warcraft III) in Warcraft II? If so how do you? Any help would be much appreciated.

Yea, just select the group then press Ctrl+(a number) 1-9 and 0 . Then to get the group just press the number.

Try runniong it in compatability mode. Right click the icon and click properties, and there should be a tab that says "compatability" I think you should be good from there

For it's time it was ... but I think Warcraft 3 is a better made game, at least in terms of balance and depth of strategy. But in it's day WC2 was the best RTS for a long time, until Starcraft and Total Annihilation. I just finished the orc campaign about an hour ago :D

Ahh yes, I remember good times... But both players in this game were noobs. Orange did not scout good enough, he doesn't react well and he makes dumb mistakes. Also dualing across the map was always an easy win for me because it just doesn't work well unless the enemy fails to scout it (like orange did).

But it's been many years since I last played so I can't even remember how my build order went and I am super super slow now, especially for playing on fastest.
