I noticed that also. November Rain at Rock in Rio 2006 is the band playing Inland Invation and there is bad comments there also. I noticed that it is not GN"R, Rock in Rio does not have a good stage set up period. I looked at some other bands that played at Rock In Rio have the same problem. The singers are having to shove the mic down their throats but it's the bands who are crap. I will admitt I would not go to Rock in Rio to see any band. It needs remodeled. Too much feedback on this stage.

truthfuly i believe both of them have way different styles. 4 ex. slash is very blues influenced, but drives the blues through ripping rock/metal solos. and buckethead is very heavy metal/modern shred influenced and sounds way different, with a crazy wicked sound. They are both Jeneous creative master minds with music.

But you have probably never listened to one of 50-76 solo albums by Buckethead. Trust me, Buckethead has does solos like this all the time. Slash has never had a solo album, and is upcoming one has vocals on nearly every track (negating the whole solo part of it). Slash just can't write songs like Buckethead can. Of all the 56 non cover GNR songs (about) Slash never wrote one alone and was only te co writer for about 18 of them I think.

Buckethead is just more talented than Slash. Sorry.

The cool/goth looking guy is Robin Finck. He switches between GNR and NIN (Nine Inch Nails). He is currently with NIN and looks totally different than this which is from Jan. 2001. I haven't heard if he will come back to GNR if have a Chinese Democracy tour. NIN is in Australia right now, and Trent said they would be in the states possibly in April. Sounds like they may hang it up soon though?

I have seen some comments that Axl had throat surgery not long before this concert which was clear back in Jan. 2001, so, his voice wouldn't be as raspy or strong. In some things if you don't use it, you lose it, but you can over use it and lose it too.

I'm not saying Buckethead is a bad guitarplayer, he's a really good one but Slash live played better all the solos, is just a matter of styles and Buckethead has a totally different style.

You just have to listen to the studio versions, then Slash live and then Bucket live and you'll know what I'm talking about.
