@Caitlin8665 I couldn't agree more. People have their own opinions and because others can't accept them they feel motivated to start useless arguments. Especially over the internet...how mature they are...
@Caitlin8665 Oh I have shut the EFFF UP..this is fantastic! Are U kidding!!!Where have they been all of my life!!....Oh this is hot......this is mine! ;-9 Can you feel it....CAN'T you? ;-) This is GOOD SHIT
my favourite thing about lacuna coil's songs, is that they're so replayable. I mean, you can just listen to them of repeat forever and ever and ever!! <3
@JadeSorrow more like 2 people appreciate real metal and not this nu/alternative metal bullshit. check their early albums if you dont know what im talking about.
@ElGolemista you're very narrow minded. A band's sound has to change at least a little bit over the years or they get boring. And it's "gothic metal." Please at least know what you're talking about before you criticize.
@TheElementalBlood Dude this isn't gothic metal come on, really? Go listen to some Paradise Lost, Tristania or Theatre of Tragedy, that's gothic metal.
@ElGolemista ...I DO listen to Theatre of Tragedy, Tristania and Leaves' Eyes. Lacuna Coil is classified as gothic metal, and you can hear it in their sound. Maybe YOU should be listening to more? :/
@TheElementalBlood Then you should listen to some nu metal, read some information about nu metal or just alternative metal/rock and you will see how this fits a lot more into that classification.
If you knew something about gothic metal, you would know it comes from doom metal which doesnt sound this melodic, catchy and soft.
The only thing that I find "gothic" here are the lyrics.
@TheElementalBlood Lacuna Coil is classified as gothic metal because that's what they started out doing. They started pushing the boundary with Comalies, and this album (Karmacode) is classified as alternative rock or alternative metal. There's virtually no gothic influence.
@Rodavon Lacuna Coil has never completely lost their gothic metal roots, though they have been heavily subdued in their past couple of albums. Hell, you can hear their old-school melodies in the verses of this very song, particularly in their first half. Even Shallow Life had its moments with songs like Not Enough, The Pain, and Shallow Life. And their early sound is definitely showing up in Dark Adrenaline- both Trip The Darkness and Kill The Light have their In A Reverie-esque moments.
One of my favorites! I love the heavy bass, the chorus is beautiful and melodic, and the verses are kind of eerie. All in all great song! Thanks for posting!
fucking awesome:D

Most underrated LC song ever, just barely edging out The Prophet Said. This song is intense.
