Completely disregarded this beautiful language when I had a chance to learn at school back in 7-8 grade in India, and questioned the benefit of learning this language which is no longer spoken. But now that I have grown and become a little smarter, I know the importance of this language and decided to learn again.
Everyone who comes here, please read up on the Charitable Endowment Act (HRCE Act) of 1951 in India. It was passed by the Indian government to seize control of Hindu temples and their funds. Today in India, especially South India, the state government controls all Hindu temples and their funds, but does not do the same with Christian or muslim places of worship. It is a double standard a clear prejudice practice by the Indian government.
I'm extremely thrilled to find something really helpful on the net. You are doing an excellent job & helping Indians like me to understand & try speaking the language of the GOD. It is very rich language & people like you make it even richer...Hats Off to you..........
It's beautiful I have studied Sanskrit up to year ten did not know the value of it then but I do today . Big regards for the people who put so much effort to teach us proud to be hindu god bless all.

Yes, I would split it like so: dvitiiyam avasaram na asti asmaakam asmin loke. The meaning is: There is no second time/chance/opportunity for us in this world.
