  • She pronounces "Jim" like Nadia in American pie :)

  • Love Maria's accent!

  • Maria...Amy...this too much!

  • She knows what she's doing ;)

And I thank her for doing so.

  • @BillyGatesHabbo you kiddin? best part of it all.. lol

  • quit mumbling jibberish and SHOW US YOUR BOOBS

  • High energy collisions! I get that one, for sure! ;-)

  • the secret of running LHC is hot chicks now i understand how they get high energies..................

  • perfect woman

  • Greek goddess

  • I would gladly work with her as a team leader, she's a Greek too go girl ^^

  • She might be a slave driver.

  • Wow, CERN has some exceptionally attractive women working there.

  • wow I can't stop staring at her badge hanging from her shirt lol

  • Id tit fuck those balloons

  • @spongah I'm sure she is aware that her viewers would watch the whole video if she through in a little cleavage. She's a smart girl.

  • so proud th she is greek=)

  • what a cutie!

  • Do the results reveal anything more than those of previous energy levels?

  • From what i understand, it's one of several factors that increase the changes of observing certain rare events. So i think it's mostly about accumulating results faster, not passing a certain energy threshold.

  • Not yet, these experiments are being conducted to produce the data required to tune the LHC to function at its nominal operational luminosity and beam energy.

When they restart on Feb. 20, they will be ramping up to 3.5TeV per beam, which should produce enough spartners (super symmetry partners) to definitively conclude their existence. This along will be a significant discovery

  • The nature of most of the rest of the experiments will take many pb of data, and thus several years to definitively conclude the results.

There are thousands of experiments being conducted, it is not just a search for the presence of Higgs bosons ... its very complicated and impossible to explain in 500 characters on youtube.

  • If you have any specific questions though i'd be happy to address them. No I DO NOT work for the LHC, but I am a well versed particle physicist with a good understanding of the perspectives of LHC physics.

It would be nice to see for a change some intelligent discussion in these threads

Oh and nominal operational intensity is 7TeV, but physics at 3.5TeV will still produce much new data when it restarts
