FLDS is based on lying, cheating, theft and child abuse. The leaders in the communities are truly evil men that have been allowed to get away with continuous acts of lawbreaking that is NEVER investigated or charged by the Utah Attorney General. Thank God for TEXAS, at least they had the guts to go after all the filthy men bedding children!!
If you want a "Polygamy Experience" read the Mormon Polygamy Revelation. J. Smiths revelation "nullifies all non Mormon marriages and contracts", defines innocent blood and threatens his wife with death. Don't expect much more for your self if that's what Emma had to look forward to.
@lemonsnlimes333 It's among my collection of some 300 books touching on Mormonism. I read the Mountain Meadows Massacre and had screaming warning lights go on, sorta like in the movie "Alien":: you get a signal and decipher it. "Get the fuck out of here" sort of warning. And began an investigation. Or like the Twilight Zone Episode "To Serve Man"....Satanic. and sad.

First they had Mike Watkiss in town, acting just like the Paparazzi, now they've got a tour bus coming past their houses to gawk. What's next, will some guy get sick of all the competition selling directions to private homes in Beverly Hills, print up some new maps, and head on over to make some cash off those driving in on their own, not willing to shell out the seventy bucks?
It wouldn't be that bad of an idea if it helped the local economy. Some communities like the Amish, Indians, and Cajuns thrive off of tourism. Considering how poor FLDS communities are it could help bring in extra income.
However, it would be terrible if these tourist ruin FLDS faith and culture.
Fortunately, for the FLDS I don't see much of a reason for their communities becoming tourist attractions. What's to tour? Their houses, cloths, religion?
@lilsteller the Amish are the most photographed group of people in the U.S.. It is true that they do thrive off tourism, and in one year 6+billion was spent by tourists in Lancaster County, Amish Communities. Good point!
@lilsteller Poor flds? those bastards drive here into st.george with brand new 2011 suv's and spend $1000's at costco and walmart. I use to work with warren jeffs nephew and he would tell me there all a bunch of hippocrites especially warren.
