Well what makes Julia Nunes so completely STANDOUT on YouTube. She isn't the best ukulele player there ever was and she doesn't even have the best voice on YouTube. What makes her standout is her mastery at writing songs. She is an incredible songwriter and her wonderfully sounding sometimes cracking voice gives her songs such depth and meaning. Just an amazing musician who has all the intangibles!

This sounds like the opening of a really epic song...the singing would fade out and there would be a moment of silence and then some instrumentals would start..definitely a really catchy percussion beat, with piano maybe or some string instruments. And you would start singing your heart out and the lyrics would be bittersweet and kind of badass and then the "I should have been" chorus would come swelling back up and it would make me cry. You know...or something.
