  • Is a sequestered disc the same as a herniated disc? Can Dr Sarno's program cure should a problem?

    THX

  • You should not put words in Dr Sarno's mouth. Diet and exercise is important for everyone.Dr Sarno specifically states they are not necessary for the relief of pain.

  • You want to know how to sort back pain search labackandbody - Brian Bronk, I went through all manner of physical modalities when my LBP was crippling me before someone actually treated my muscles in the right way!!! Dr Sarno says he rarely found the muscles to be in spasm, in the vast majority of cases there is no apparent spasm! but its there, an underlying pattern thats easy missed, 90% huh, I'll take your word for it,

  • Oh plz, don't tell me low back pain is in folks trapped emotions etc, utter rubbish.

  • @Helios601 utter rubbish? you my friend are mistaken. he has a 90% success rate. want to learn more then go to tmshelp.com or tmswiki.wetpaint.com

  • You are mistaken. I have trained with Dr. Sarno and he rejects any treatment other than education.

His attitude toward any body treatment or diet is, if you like it , fine, but it will in no way help TMS. ie. get rid of pain that has its origin in the unconscious mind.

  • Hey, I got the lose the back pain series and it's very good but wouldn't Dr. Sarno consider your physical therapy techniques a placebo? My own testimony suffering from severe sciatica low back pain for years, I tried it all, injections, exercise, inversion tables, spineworx, yoga, diet you name it I probably tried it with at most a temporary relief from my symptoms then I read Sarnos Heal the Back Pain and half way through the book I experienced relief like I never experienced in my life.
