@fskyr nope, nothing special. the N82 has a gpu, power vr mbx so it can handle it and the game is running in low resolution of the n82's screen so its not a problem :)

hi vjmech, did you ever have any luck getting magickey to work on the n82 for quake? The 3 quake games seem to be the only games magickey doesn't work with, it just makes the buttons not work at all.

So when you bind a key in the quake settings and you press the volume up or down does it say "PGUP" and "PGDN" or something else?
what did you change the keys to? A B C and D?
Do you think you could give me the SID number of your quake 3 from the magickey app list? you'd be able to find it by finding quake 3 in the magickey app list and clicking options and clicking "edit"

are you able to use the volume up and down keys? if so, i would probably use the motion sensors to look up and down and turn, and use the arrow keys to move and strafe. And use one of the buttons on the side (such as one of the arrow keys) to shoot.
I saw a video where the guy was using a N95 and motion sensors and the controls seemed pretty easy. If I wouldn't have known better it actually looked like he was just playing on the computer.

this mobile version does!! I have it, why would I be lying?! Instead of having the option to change the textures' depth (16bit vs. 32 bit) like in the PC version, you can enable/disable FSAA. Do some research before talking trash.
why do you have all the graphic settings on max?? Turn FSAA on, bilinearing filtering on (trilinear sucks), 16 bit color depth (don't worry there would be no difference in quality)and resolution on 320x240. There's no use making the resolution higher than that given the phone's small screen. The other settings aren't affecting the performance (geometry detail, texture detail) for me with my n95-2.
in my n82 if everything is set to high it kicks me out..have u made anything special??

its the firmware. it only works in firmware v20, v30 hack dosent seem to work.

yeah magic key works,got the volume keys to work for shooting and the nav keys for lookin up,down and all that..

volume keys can be used if you have that magic key software and reassign your keys..motion sensor is still not perfect..a bit clumsy..

you could use the motions sensors, or you could use the volume up and down keys, remember, there are still the keys on the side of the device.

i changed the plug on the keyboard and my phone has usb for the mouse. its pretty gay so i dont use them often
