they are available in both acrylic and enamel. i use acrylic. the only enalmels i have are gold and copper. just for detailing.

nothing, it's just that the black spray paint gives a different affect to the silver when you dry-brush it on.

i spray painted it silver and it turned out great. also, it saves paint

result depends on the silver you use. i couldn't find any good paint and to get the "dusty" effect on my megs i had to do it this way!

Can we just put tape on the treads and other black bits and the led parts and then just Spray Paint Silver?

you know what, you can do whatever you want. this is just a way that i did it. but remember, the details you want to show up will blend in to the rest of megatron if u just paint silver all over

Actually drybrushing is painting with Very LITTLE paint on the brush, doesnt matter if its dry or semi dry, (wet will make it a wash or a ink)

oh, i didn't realize what it sounded like when i was writing it! i meant have a "semi-dry" brush after u dipped it in the paint! sry!(basically saying paint with very little paint)

umm..i rly don't know. all i know is that i get mine from a shop that sells comic books, action figures, and paint.

check ur local hobby shops. (e.g. michaels\ hobby lobby....those r some i've heard of, i live in canada, so i wouldn't know for sure)

so.. by spaying it with black paint , it gives it the dark colour right ? ( i hope i dont spay tooo much ! i dont want a black meagtron) IF u spray megs lightly with silver, can u get that metalick look?

no! when u spray black, and dry-brush silver over it, all the details become visible. if u just spray it silver, it'll just be a silver megatron.

you won't end up with a black megatron if u paint silver over parts u want to.

my spray paint doesn't go sticky on rubber it drys within 5 mins 0.O it's brilliant stuff, nice tutorial!
