@saltadoros08 no need to be rude, my papou is from a village in the Trodos mountains and the Greek and Turkish Cypriot villagers in his time did the same dances. Folklore goes region by region, not by ethnicity. These dances are Cypriot and not found on the Greek mainland, so the best description is Cypriot, not Greek or Turkish. In the same way that other dances are Thracian, or Epirote, or Dodecanese.
I don't know of any Turks who want to do that to me! χαχαχαχα. I think the problems in Cyprus can be largely blamed on those who wanted to unify a mixed Greek/Turkish Cypriot island with mainland Greece. Anyway, I'm not here to talk hate and politics, I was just commenting on the folklore - and this is a folkloric video. Υειά
@mazdab8 the music is cypriot was around before the turks settled in cyprus.the sad thing is the people in cyprus were used by the powers that be and we know who they are.cyprus for the cypriots one island one nation one identity.

@vasili33 I am a Turkish Cypriot and I agree with you. There is such a thing as a Cypriot culture, no need to classify it as Greek or Turkish.
