@olliemorr Cool. Just asked 'cause I heard a tiny bit of the Sonics "Don't Believe in Christmas" right after, and I played that sequence back in '08. Of course those 2 songs fit together, so it could well be another source...
@spaceman392001 Just checked the tagging of the mp3 I've got and it's got 'Super Sympathy Spectrum Stocking Stuffer' as being the album, 1992 as the year and it's credited to The Sonics. The file itself was created in 2006....looking at that I'm fairly sure it was released as a download in around '07 or '08 via Sonic's mailing list. It's ringing bells (arf) so to speak. :) Very interesting though that it's got a snippet of that Sonics track at the end!
@olliemorr Going back further in my playlist, it looks like I played that sequence as far back as '03. The SSSSS is a split 7". The other side is the Field Trip doing a couple songs (hence Sonic mentioning them in the greeting). it's possible he snagged it from the webcast.
Does this remind anyone else of Big Audio Dynamite's 'Rush'?

@spaceman392001 Not 100% sure where I got it from, but I have a vague memory of it being a free xmas download from Sonic a few years ago.
