Of course.... D.O.T laws vary from State to State but they are all very similar on lighting.. White or Amber up front ONLY (Unless you are an Emergency Vehicle or Police). Red is for Off Road Use Only!
Amber is legal on the front of the vehicle (turn signals/park lamps) I would dare say all you would have to say is that they are your Parking Lamps/DRL.
Red or Blue or any other color other than white or Amber is illegal.
From personal experiance you can have any color as long as there is no flashing or patterns of any sort. Must be solid on in the state of Ohio. Well at least according to the judge in my lil town. Same with underbodies as well.
Hey great car, love the effect especially with the Oznium remote unit. Just wondering where you got the dual-color halos? I have a 2004 explorer with rims, subwoofers, tv's, LED's all over, all the fun toys but these would just really top it off. Could you help me out getting some info/finding some for my car? thanks!
Thank you for the kind words they are greatly appreciated!
Ok as for what the Halo's look like when off, during the day. On the chrome backing in my headlights the LED's do not stand out much. You would have to be up real close to even see them. Standing back say 5' or more you wouldn't know they are there at all. Now on other colors of headlights it may be a different story, and in those cases you can paint the LED/PC Board and then just sand the tops of the LED's with 2000 grit.
Alright thanks! That was my main concern with them, that they'd look strange when they're off. I'm thinking about getting white ones for my car myself, so I doubt it will show. I'm really new at this, and I was wondering if installing the electrical components was very difficult? I don't think I'm going to install a remote box, but I was just wondering how you wired it to your car. Thanks!
Mine are dual color halos so there are separate positives for the white and the red LED's and there is a common ground. I used two separate single channel remote boxes with key fobs to control them. The remote boxes are wired directly into the battery and the boxes make sure the LED's get just 12 volts. More than 12 volts can cause the LED's to burn out.
Alright, so I'm thinking about doing this to my dodge charger (very similar to the 300), and I'm thinking about using LED's too; however, I was wondering if during the day if you could see the LED's when the halos are off. I've heard complaints that they look sort of strange when their not lit, like their little yellow diamonds or something. Would you say this is true?
DID YOU INSTALL YOURSELF OR DID YOU SEND THEM IN TO AAC???

The Halo's are from Advanced Automotive Concepts AAC, check my subscriptions and you will find them in my subscribed to list.
Or you can google AAC or Oracle Lighting.
Thanks!

If you would like me to take some daylight photos with the LED's off, from varying distances I can do that for you. Just let me know.
Thanks,
Brett

hey man thanks for the info hey.. what u think are better the LED's or the CCFL halos ????
titan371 2 years ago
I originally had CCFL's and had issues with them. I prefer the LED's.
brett248vista 2 years ago
hey man the halos came separated from the headlights or all together??? as one piece????
titan371 2 years ago
@titan371
See my other videos and you will see the halos before I installed them. They are SMT LED's on PC Boards, very thin.
brett248vista 2 years ago
They are dual color halos, they can be ordered in any two combination's you want.
