If not, then think of who puts out your fires, keeps bad guys off the streets, who operates government equipment. Do you want them under the influence? No? Then it's not unreasonable, is it?

There was no reason to go into Iraq. Pakistan however, has nuclear power and also radical terrorist. Libya's people are fighting for democracy, and have asked the UN for assistance. Liberals believe in preserving liberty from dictators & for doing so strategically (i.e. with the assistance of other countries).

I do have a question though, how does drug testing of public employees violate the 4th amendment? The 4th amendment protects us from unreasonable searches and seizures with out a warrant. Isn't it reasonable to find out if your employees are under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on the job? If not, then think of who puts out your fires, keeps bad guys off the streets, who operates government equipment. Do you want them under the influence? No? Then it's not unreasonable, is it?

There was no reason to go into Iraq. Pakistan however, has nuclear power and also radical terrorist. Libya's people are fighting for democracy, and have asked the UN for assistance. Liberals believe in preserving liberty from dictators & for doing so strategically (i.e. with the assistance of other countries).

He is still out there, likely in the Pakistani/Afghani border, which is why liberals (mostly) support Obama's efforts there. More over, Repubs' remain firmly against ANYTHING Obama does, including trying to take out Qaddafi, even though Reagan did the exact same thing in the 80's. INCONSISTENT.

3rd, Libya has been a positive economic influence in the wider region over the past 10+ years, and Libyans were not facing severe economic conditions, which ignited uprisings throughout the middle east. It wasn't until Ghadaffi encouraged Egyptian and Syrian protesters to rally on the Gaza border to influence an Israeli change-of-policy on their mistreatment of Palestinians that, within days, Libya was facing curious uprisings, which may have been influenced by foreign money and guns.

Yes, I do believe that Congress doesn't need to be debate the issue if congress specifically gave the executive branch the power to engage in limited short term humanitarian warfare.
Now if they want to remove that law, and remove that treaty. Congress could do that too.

If only we could make it a felony punishable by life in prison for any politician that implements a law that goes 180 deg opposite of what they stated and preached when running for office? I think overnight 99% of the politicians would be in prison and the country would miraculously have a real economic boom, not the fake recovery they keep pushing: I have some nice land in Florida that's "close" to the beach (swamp) for sale at a low price and a nice shiny condo in Tokyo for you.
