I consider this song to have the best instrumental section of any Dream Theater song. That is saying a lot since DT usually has a lot of amazing ones (and some that drag a little bit or do not fit the song)

@moterhead7 Nice references. I think he was misunderstood before he listened to DT. He was following a blind faith and could just disappear, and no-one would notice. Now he's lifting shadows off that terrible dream, which he cannot lie about. That dream is now withered, and he can look himself in the mirror and feel good about it. He is no longer surrounded with bad music, for it was the root of all evil.
