Yoko remixes anime theme songs into her own "eurobeat" versions, and some of these have acquired offical routines over time. Parapara is a style of dancing, pretty much a series of aerobic upper-body movements in time with eurobeat music (typically high-energy cute techno-ish music made in Italy). Usually performed by Japanese people, however as you can see it has a following in western countries too :-)

With the two known videos that these girls have released on here, their take on Evangelion's Cruel Angel's Thesis was done better, although not by much. You can tell that these girls are out of sync with the music, and a lot of the movements aren't even close to what they really should be like. Nice try though. Kudos to Mi~Ke for the choreo.

In my opinion, they are good. You may like the japanese girls better because of the way they look, but most japanese parapara dancers are mechanical and stiff - they put no feeling into it. When others do it as a hobby, not because they have to, and actually enjoy it, it doesn't matter what they look like or where they are from. So yeah, being devoted DOES matter.

i feel they are good, but to some people, its better to learn off the mechanical and stiff ones, so they get the correct moves. im learning this song off a different video, but they only have the good 1.30, so im using this for reference if i get lost.

in my opnion, i would rather learn from the stiff. then i could incorporate my own "jive" instead of learning off of someone elses.
