  • Aumenta que é "Rock"n"Rolll"!!!!

  • Spitzen Gitarrist !

  • who is the harp player?

  • @xldh44 looks like Mark Feltham cause Alvin is playing with the band Nine Below Zero

  • saw him in jacksonville, fla. in 74. we screamed choo choo mama until he shut us up by doing so. One of the greatest ever. Love ya Alvin. keep rocking!!!!

  • An "average-quality -band" ...but rock brings a smile on my face and helps overcome the un-evitale troubles of life tumbling down, just like that..

Who is without...live it up while you can...but probably did not start his life yet...

  • is the man on the bass gerry mcavoy?

  • @goldfel good call- i think it is.....

  • @goldfel yep, the band is Nine Below Zero

  • One of the few who stayed in Hell to show us the way.

  • Listen to the Space In Time album ,or the Rock N Roll Music To The World album, or maybe Shhhhhhhh, Cricklewood Green, arghhhhhh never mind

  • Always listened to "Goin' home". Had no idea they did this too? What a dumbass I've been the last 30 years!!! What an awesome song, cant stop listening to it, excellent cruisin' song for the summer drivin'!! Love the rich sound of the guiter Alvin plays.

  • Even with seats as far away from the stage as you can get, Alvin Lee puts on a fantastic show

  • Puro rock and roll, muito bom.

  • i met alvin when i was 18 , my friend was into him and met him and took me to a show at the vic theatre in chicago in the 80s we followed him to madison wis and a few other places always a nice man eager to show us licks ,, lol i taught him how to play eruption and one night he whipped out some 2 hand tapping and pointed at me i wanted to die ,,

  • nine below zero backing the fastest guitarist in the west= heaven

  • lucky guy !

  • Excellent !! my friend. Thumbs up of course. G.

  • una forza della natura

  • You can learn a lot from this guy......

  • The first concert I went to was Alvin Lee and Ten Years After. Actually they were not the concerts featured band, but I cant remember who they were touring with. Since then I've been to dozens of great concerts that include Led Zep, BTO, Fleetwood Mac, REO Speedwagon, Yes, ZZ Tops, The Stones, and The Who. I could use this whole page listing bands, but my point is, as great as all those bands were, Alvin Lee still tops my list.

  • you dont get better, that is real good music played really well

  • you dont get better

  • yeehaw!rip it Alvin & co!

  • Slowed it down too much from the 70s version

  • THIS IS ROCK AND ROLL

    THANK YOU

  • Now we know where George Thorogood stole his style from...

  • @bdfilms01 From Bo Diddley

  • The day is done: LET's ROCK!

  • Still one of the simplest -no refined riffs included- but honest rock things!

Unpolished , but sometimes it can do you good to go back to "The Flintstones of ROCK"...

  • @sorocksteady

    What?Flinstone?Dude----.

  • LIFE GOES ON!

  • what is the year of this concert ?

  • WOW-This Music Is Alot Better Than What I Do:)

  • who is the dude in the raincoat?

  • @jackhubbs54 I think he's either Neo, or Nicholas Cage........dunno. But if you ever find out---let me know cuz the dude cooks.........

  • hello, is the bassist : Gerry Mc Avoy from Rory Gallagher ?

  • @timbogert33 ; 99% not, since Gerry was playing with Nine below Zero at that time.

Also Gerry had the bass between his legs most of the time.

  • thanks for this answer but who is the bassist ?

  • Is THIS really important to you who played bass in a rock band 16 years ago? - no offence meant.

    I am just wondering.

  • nothing is really important in the life, i'm just curious but the name of Franklin Roosvelt' grand-father is not interesting for me(excuse my english langage).Have a good day.

  • @timbogert33

Yes, that's definitely MacAvoy on bass. NBZ toured with Alvin Lee in 1994, and MacAvoy played bass for both bands.

  • somone check this out. ... heard he blew the big band. yes.... off the stage at the albert hall. i was told by a yes member just recently. they were the backing group. early eighties i think. seen them live at newcastle city hall later. great peformance. sell out. alvin was up with the best guitarists at the time.

  • puta sonzeraaaaaa

  • @morceguetty could you please translate this comment in english

  • Gosh ... he sounds better than ever !

    Rock on !!

  • TYA without Alvin cannot really exsist. He's amazing.

  • i wathed a few of thes imposter videos and am appalled. alvin was tya period. and joe gooch and this band are just a comver band . i agree

  • Alvin Lee you are the best.

  • nine below zero and alvin lee - best and the very best awsome

  • seen alvin a couple of years ago in glasgow , he is still as good as ever , superb guitarist

  • I have some old Albums of Ten Years After from the late 60s and saw him at the Hollywood Palladium in 1973. It was standing room only. Best concert i went to. =)

  • and on the eighth day God created Rock & Roll, is there any better music ? I DONT THINK SO. ROCK ON ALVIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And some ignorants think that U2 plays rock n' roll. Laughable !

    PHC

  • inarrivabile,grande alvin

  • wow

  • Rock N Roll no longer belongs to the youth. It now.. and has... belonged to the young at heart for quite sometime. Thats the eternal beuty of it. LET THERE BE ROCK!

  • ya know, I never knew that Alex Lifeson was so influenced by this guy. Really cool to find that out Alvin Lee is very skilled!

  • Alvin Lee is at the top of the food chain when it comes to his music. one of the greats.

  • Come on Alvin, play agan for us!!!

Do not hide on that f.ing island without your fans.

  • Wow, Nine Below Zero as backing band!

  • Thank you Alvin, You Rock!

  • Maybe you havent heard about image?

  • Shut up you stupid asshole.

Nobody is to old to wear stuff, maybe you are just to stupid to see that.

Alvin Lee is the best !

  • good morning little schoolgirl blows this song away

  • WHAT Blackes57 Says is RIGHT! I have ALVIN LEE &TEN YEARS AFTER RECORDED LIVE, THAT WHOLE ALBUM, YES ALBUM, KICKS FUCKIN' ASS!

  • Preference is just that, opinions are another. Alvin and Mylon Le Fever for quick welsh licks while of and on heroin. Page great in the studio, awful live on Jack Daniels, Rory Gallagher for blues.

  • whats the point of comparing guitar players total waste of time its all subjective anyway Alvin beats them all (:>) seen him 12 times live

  • Not the best Alvin I´ve even heard.

  • This version of this great song makes me gonna sleep!!! it`s played so fucking slowly--no groove in it--i prefer the version of Ten Years After`s "Recoreded Live"!!!! This one really rocks!!!

  • Saw that live. They were seriously LOUD.

  • Alvin jams! Why compare him to Page? They are both legendary players, and among the greatest!

  • nah Alvin is a way cleaner quicker guitar player then jimmy plus after 1976 jimmy couldn't play worth shit the damn heroin

  • Alvin vs. Jimmy Page? Ithink the numbers speak for themselves . Imagination and taste goes to Jimmy..Energy and the ability to play and sing, Big Al! I still get chills watchin' "i'm goin' home" from Woodstock, can't say much for "Houses of the Holy" flick. Jimmy in the studio? Untouchable..Alvin live? Equally inspiring, almost. Who have YOU listened to more? There you go! Jimmy by a G-string !

  • I really was at Woodstock.......ten years after were the only thing i remember.

  • why, cause you were stoned out of your mind? lol

  • I think so.lol..

  • @budway1942

    lucky guy

  • @budway1942

Betcha if hendrix was ther you'd have remembered him pretty well :P

  • @wheresthecorporal he was there dumbass

  • Hendrix closed the show dude........we were in the mud.....ahhhhhhhhh my glory years..

  • @budway1942 hendrix?

  • As usual ALVIN LEE is special but the bass player he used here is a load of crap(looked like he was wacking his python or should I say garter snake)where were the dynamic bass runs, just plonking playing the root note is lesson 1 page 1 type of stuff

  • Read Bill Graham's biography. You'll never think of Led Zep in the same way again.

  • If anybody were to throw something at Jimmy Page, it should have been a book on how to play guitar. Alvin Lee is superior compared to Led Balloon Zep...... However, Yngwie is the best ever...

  • I read an old paperback in the 90s that said jimmy page threw soda on Alvin Lee while he was playing because he was jealous and screwed up his fingering , has anyone heard that one ?

  • Nope... But the only thing I know is that Alvin Lee is a better guitar player than Page.

Lee and Rory Gallagher are the best.

  • Just a correction on this event...it was John Bonham who threw OJ on Alvin as he was playing...made a sticky mess obviously.

  • I saw Alvin at a club in Dallas in the 80's and I think I got hypnotized. He played Hey Joe and it wailed beyond belief.

  • Who are the other players?

  • The other players are the band Nine Below Zero whom toured with Alvin in 1994. I saw this act at the Coachhouse in San Juan Capistrano in 1994.

  • Correct! I saw them at Mr. Toads in New Haven, CT. around the same time. It was great to see Alvin live, a few feet in front of me, in a small club. Thanks for refreshing that memory for me. Anyone else see them there?

  • super rock
