i read somewhere that they didn't jump cause they everyone has a 'job' or 'destiny' to fulfill and kairi had fulfilled hers so she was sent home to destiny islands whereas sora needed to find riku so they drifted apart to where fate took them. ~_~ but i agree she could have gone along too.

Honestly, the story focuses on Sora and Kairi, but the one who really suffers is Riku. I admire him more than I admire Sora or Kairi. I like all three characters in general though.

Riku almost seems selfless and only fights for others rather than himself. I wonder if they will flesh out his personality a little more in KHIII. Even though he gets a good amount of screen time, Riku is still a mystery.
