As a result, a Fannie May and Freddie Mac failure would have an immeasurable impact on the economy and will cost the most to bail out.

It didn't matter who was in charge. Fannie and Freddie were destined to fall big time. I realize Barney Frank was not head of the financial service committee when all those bad loans were made and pushed on Freddi and Fannie. He took over Jan 07 and housing was peaking big time based on all the bad loans. Plus the guy said "NOT A GOOD INVESTMENT" since when does that equal Buy.. The reason Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are so important is because they hold 70% off ALL mortgages and hold more sub-prime loans than all of the other mortgage brokers combined.
As a result, a Fannie May and Freddie Mac failure would have an immeasurable impact on the economy and will cost the most to bail out.

Go listen to what Barney said back in a hearing in 2003 and in 2004 when he said they were fine and nothing was wrong and he and the other Democrats blocked more regulatory oversite of Freddie and Fannie.

Wouldn't we all have learned more from a real discussion? What if these two people had looked rationally at what happened and what we need to do in the future? O'Reilly could make positive change and he wastes it with insults meant only to get better ratings (i. e. more money for himself).
