It is so good to see people being reunited with their families... but also quite depressing and bittersweet because so many have lost family members and are not able to. I'm so glad for those who are, but it only brings me temporary happiness.... I'm just continuing to hope and pray that so many others will be able to reunite with their family.... I would give anything to take away their pain, give them their loved ones back, and give them back their lives. Anything. Great now I"m crying..
pray for japan and hope they well get back on there feet and love ones and friends be found and. And let's all help out that is the right thing to do. :D
I think we can all learn a lesson from the way the Japanese people have reacted to this tragedy. They have endured unimaginable hardships yet have shown grace and compassion for one another. Remarkable people!
@stargroove4 Yes. Because obviously if there had been no black people during Katrina, there would have been no looting, rioting, robbing, or shootings.
@stargroove4 Oh am I? That's interesting because my ethnic background is mainly black and I have never, nor have any of my family members, been convicted of felony. Now here's the real kicker, we've never looted or destroyed any kind of establishment! That's crazy, huh?
If you wonder how the Japanese people can act so calm in this situation compared to how people in New Orleans acted (not just blacks, other races were obviously in those videos), look at the government.
@BeautifulLogic It was also a different type of disaster. Stop turning this into some debate about governments or ethnicity or religion. (Other seemingly racist guy too...)
It's so sad. I could see the controlled desperation in his face. Let us help Japan no matter how things turn out. They need money. And a lot of humanitarian efforts. And that requires money too.
beautiful. just as @werty302 says, in america it's not that way. i would love to work for a person who cares about his/her employees. we could learn a lot from this country
wow that man was searching for his employees? how noble. in america the boss would be running away and wouldnt care about anyone else.. you really get a sense of community with these people and how they look out for one another.
@werty302 Also, 3M (maker of Post-It Notes etc.) is ordering it's employees near the Fukushima Reactor to stay at least 50km away, while the government say only 35km.
@werty302 "in america the boss would be running away and wouldnt care about anyone else" Speaking as a boss I can tell you that your racist comment is not accurate.
@mezzer99 i believe the person was referring to how big corporations would be like. i work for stop and shop a large retail company and when my friends family member passed away they asked if they could stay later in his shift. big corporations dont care about people as long as they make money. i dont think its racist its true
@BostonBruinsOWN There are good and bad companies the world over. I've worked for British, Canadian and American companies and have only had good experiences with all of them. I'm sorry your friend had a bad experience when they rightly needed some extra support, but to paint an entire nation's management as having no concern for their staff is, frankly, complete and utter crap.
@werty302 You must be one of those clowns who doesn't even read their own posts. You said "in America" (in fact you said "in america" because you haven't discovered the Shift key yet) and then slandered every boss in the country. I know many bosses and companies in the US who bend over backwards for their staff. Further, I don't see racism everywhere but when I do I don't tolerate it. You may not be racist, I'll accept that you may just be an ignorant twat.
@werty302 Sorry to disappoint but no whining coming from here, I called you out and you've got no reply worth writing or reading. Guess you really are just an ignorant twat.
@mezzer99 "oh my god, someone posted on a video regarding the crisis in Japan and applauded the Japanese boss for being such a noble person. Oh but he needed to use a widely accepted American corporate boss generalization to help show the contrast of the Japanese working culture. Now im going to talk shit because i represent all the western bosses in the world, and by talking shit i will be proving my point about how great we are." -mezzer99
@werty302 You're not doing a very good job of trying to reclaim the high ground. Face it, you're just a silly little bitch trying to sound like a nice guy whereas in fact you're just an ignorant twat, as previously highlighted. Climb back under the rock you crawled out from.
@werty302 Regrettably there is ample evidence that I am in no way retarded. However there is equally ample evidence that you are an ignorant twat. Keep digging bitch.
@werty302 When you learn the difference between "your" and "you're" you'll be less incompetent at identifying retarded behavior. Until then, recognize that you're an ignorant twat and stop repeatedly proving it.
@werty302 Sorry to disappoint, you have the "ignorant twat" market completely cornered. And I didn't say bosses are great, I pointed out that your racist statement blanketing all American bosses as having no interest in the safety of their employees as being utter crap. Suck on that, twat.
@werty302 I need to correct your grammar too. There is no contradiction in my argument as, apparently, anybody other than an ignorant twat would recognise. As I mentioned in my previous post, please stop repeatedly proving your ignorance, you are embarrassing yourself.

What you see:
Caring, sharing, distraught individuals over comminga tragedy.
What you don't see:
Looting, rioting, robbing, shootings and negroes.

@BeautifulLogic And for the grand finale, you may now go watch the 2 Ihop and 2 denny's videos.
Let's just say negroes shouldn't be allowed in because you can imagine what the zoo animals did.
4 eating establishments recked by a gang of negroes in 2 weeks.
You're living in an NPR filled dreamworld buddy.

@mezzer99 Your argument: Bosses are good, caring people.

Result: every raging post you make just proves how retarded you are.
