Thanks for the comments. I agree with psyoptica - I also prefer it without the O-port! It's quite a small bodied guitar and doesn't have a lot of bottom end. The O-port damping the top end isn't very noticeable: it tightens up the sound a bit at the expense of losing some of the harmonics. There isn't much difference to my ear; the sound on the video isn't brilliant but to be honest, I prefer it without!
I am just back from the musicshop and the dealer offered me an O port.
Thank you for the video. According the great pleasure the dealer had to GIVE the O port, I guess he has not achieved to sell anyone... I can't hear any difference on the video... Is it because of the recording system you used?... I ll try it on my own folk guitar. but I wonder if it is not dedicated to cheap guitars in order to make it sound louder...

I hear noticeably less high end and more mids with the O-Port. I think your guitar sounds good either way, but I prefer it without the O-Port.
