People need to just chill out. First of all, I'm Italian...not like these guidos idiots but a true one. Second, I find it so ironic how Dominos pulled their ads from the show...as if they are the flag bearers of Italian culture or something. Second, that "Italian rights group" that kept bitching in the beginning-I forget their name-they are a group that was all about ditching Italian customs/traditions in favor of becoming more Americanized. They need to get off their horse.

if anyone came to the jersey shore they would know that this show is a very very very exaggerated charichature of what the shore is actually like. sure, some "guidos" are there... but 95% of the people you will see are not like that. of these "guidos," most of them are tourists anyway. i'm from south jersey (like 5 minutes from the beach) so i know what it's like, but i'm not offended because it's completely inaccurate! anyone with half a brain can realize that.

The anti defamation groups should hunt down these kids and their parents for depicting Italians in such poor light not MTV. The show is airing what I see in my shore town every summer. But to be fair, they're not all Italians, regardless of ethnicity most of the renters act like those kids. I just want them to treat my neighborhood the way they treat their neighborhood at home. Conscious it's 2 AM, not cursing in front of the children in their family etc etc

All the Italian girls are pretty. All the Italian guys are in great shape. They are probably in better shape then 99% of the me out there, so how does that make Italians look bad? I could see if all the Italians looked bad and were in bad shape, but not these actors & actressess.
