  • a couple of great fighters right there boys

  • win for probert with the takedown of twist.

  • Cinder blocks, HaHaHa.

  • The coke finally did his heart in today and it quit on him.....RIP BOB

  • are they about even in their careers? Probert's best days were in the red wing uniform, he was getting older and slower in his chicago days.

  • @liukangstoupee Probert was 3 years older, and Twist was definitely on the juice at this point in his career. He put on 35 pounds of muscle in a single offseason.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 probert was about 35 wtf 3 ?

  • @khav11 Twist was 28 years old when this fight happened in 1996. Probert was only 31 years old. They are 3 years apart. What part can't you comprehend?

  • @BoSoxnation1972 hmm anyway 25-30 is the prime for anyone or 22 when u pass the 30 years old u change thats normal.

  • @khav11 I don't disagree with you, although players nowadays with training, diet, and suppliments can extend their prime into their 30's.

Probert might have peaked younger than most fighters because he abused drugs. Twist peaked when he started using steroids and got too strong for everyone.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 wait u talking about skills in ur prime right?

i was talkin about tuffness aggressivenes fights etc.

  • @khav11 I know you're talking about toughness. Donald Brashear, George Laraque, and Wade Belak were all top 10 fighters just 2 years ago, and all 3 of them were in their 30's.

20 years ago, not many fighters were still good into their thirties. Behn Wilson was out of hockey because of a bad back when he was 29. Clark Gillies retired at 33. Stan Jonathan was retired at 28.

Today, an enforcer can still be good at 33-35 because of diet and exercise.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 i knid of agree with u about good and fit enough to collect money and to play the game jody shelley is way passed over 30s and still manage to fight well but i was just talkin about prime which is obv not in the 30s whatsoever

  • @BoSoxnation1972 jody shelley is a perfect exemple

  • @khav11 very true. Shelly is still one of the most feared fighters according to an April 2010 poll of NHL players. He joined Boogasard, Chara, DJ King, and Colton Orr as the most feared men in the league. The poll was done by Sports Illistrated.

  • @khav11 ...agreed while probert was older in his early 30s at this time, past his prime kind of wore out from hard living and hard fighting, while twister not too much younger, was still fresh, lifestyle difference than probert, not as many fights and of course younger...while still in the top 10 at this time probert was past his prime and on a slow decline while twister was on the rise, at his prime.....

  • @BillieBobSmith see,u just come back with the same premade bullshit, twist did exactly the same,u just hate him,not judging how the fight goes,he d beat the shit out of any other players u d still say that he is a loser, while most of enforcers did drug in that era

  • @BillieBobSmith kinda funny u just talk shit about probie on most of his video, just showing that u rlly dont know what ur talking about, but u dont call probie a druggie here, because twist was a druggie too, so just get lost

  • PROBIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twister was awsome tho!

  • @BillieBobSmith Im a huge twist fan, and YES twister has lost to probert a couple times...

  • I guess you never say Twist's first fight with Probert during a pre-season game. Twist looked bad.

  • :44 seconds, still wound up from last night. Hahaha, was that a coke reference?

  • Twist lost the first fight against Probert when Twist just held on for dear life. Round two was a draw, if you want to be nice to Twist, Rd. 3 only went to Twist because Probert stepped on a stick and in this altercation Twist didn't look too much like a winner to me.

Twist never lost to Probert, yeah, right.

  • Tony Twist: The greatest enforcer in NHL history.

  • Starts to get ass kicked..........

resorts to tackle in order to stop said ass-kicking...........

  • Twist constantly went after probert when bob was with the blackhawks. Probie had nothing to prove to anyone, he is, and will always be the best enforcer of all time. The fact twist went after bob every game they played against eachother proved that he still felt he had to prove himself against the baddest man who ever laced them up.

  • Twist went after Probert because Probert was a fighter, was from day one until his last day in the NHL. He was an enforcer. Twist could have gone after one of the star players to force Probert into a fight, but he didn't. When you are an enforcer, you have to expect other tough guys to come at you. Probert was one of the best, everyone wanted to test themselves against him.

Twist tested himself, and he won 2 of 3.

  • Marty McSorley says hi.

  • it's funny how they analyze the fighting like any other part of the game.

  • Probert was afraid of Twist. Several times he wouldn't even drop the gloves with Twist, then threw the cheap elbow. Twist wasn't a good hockey player, but he wasn't a dirty player either. Unlike Probert.

  • probert afraid of twist? probert eas the best fighter in nhl you dick

  • Funny how you call me a dick and your name has the word "pubic". Probert backed down from Twist at least twice, also threw a cheap shot elbow at Twist that drew a suspension! IProbert tackled Twist in a fight, never threw a punch!

Who is the dick, pubic?? LOL!!!!,

  • Why is that funny chicken shit? Probert never backed out from anything best fighter in the NHL ever! Go wash your puces asswipe!

  • Wow.... great debate? You really back up your statements, don't you? I can't compete with such incredible logic and intelligence!

  • I dont have to just watch the videos you idiot!

  • Let me guess; you also did interviews with the players? LOL! You are great at supporting your point of view with facts, and with such incredible use of the English language; dick, chicken shit, asswipe, idiot..... you obviously excelled in literature. Amazing how a kid who wore a helmet and took the short bus ended up so articulate! LOL!

I watched the games, heck I even went to a few of the games in St. Louis. I didn't just watch these videos either...LOL!

  • looks to me like Probert DID take on someone bigger than him (Twist)..and tossed his ass down. Grimson, Brashear, Secord,Brown, McSorley, Wilkinson. All bigger than Probert.

  • he didn't drop them with Twist again in that game because he'd cut his hand earlier.....he fought Twist twice more later.

  • didnt matter if twister hit his head on the ice, cause u CAN'T knock twister OUT! oh, "he's still wound up from last night.."lololol, thats classic!

  • I remember watching this game! Go blues!

  • cocaine and roids will give you extra energy.

  • Twist was throwing bombs.

  • Probie didnt throw a single punch...win Twister
