i have my own funny story about his glasses,

the first time i got them off was when i was messing around in the first fight, and i like to let him do that shoulder grab on me, since its awesome. after you auto hit him in the face when he weakens you, his glasses got knocked off.

At first i thought it was the only way to do that, and even then it was a 50% chance...

and then many wesker battles later i shot his sunglasses...

Did you know that there's an advantage when Wesker's sunglasses fell off? If you have either a flash grenade or flash rounds, you can throw it and Wesker becomes instantly stunned. At this point, you can go for the 5-combo hit on Wesker.

What I usually do is attack him normally with gunfire and melees until he's stunned. Then I do a successful 5-combo hit and after throw a flash grenade as Wesker fall down. This gives me another chance to do a second 5-combo hit.

Oh and you can only at max shoot Wesker three times before he dashes towards you. With the magnum (any of the three) you can only hit him twice before he dashes towards you since Wesker becomes stunned at the second magnum shot. You can hit him with a third magnum but that will result in him dashing towards you after being shot.

Basically, when Wesker becomes stunned, don't shoot him again or you'll miss the chance to do a 5-combo hit.
