Just like Ron Paul; she's not favored, so the labels don't get her out there as much as they do with Justin Timberfake and 50pesos. You should know better than to expect things like this to be publicized. Leave it up to all the OTHER sell outs to have their label pay to have their song played @ certain times of the day/night.

Again i agree with you but as an artist i think Donna just wanted to do what she wanted to do regardless of the out come which i think wasn't as bad as some may think considering the poor distribution/marketing/promoti­on of this cd. A no brainer maybe but Donna always took chances & pushed the envelope. Sometimes it works some times it doesn't but i don't think it makes her or the music on her new cd bad. Maybe next time.

I know "cats without claws" was not a major seller, but he a couple of really nice track, like Forgive me. That's a really moving song.

As for her doing a Cher like CD, that will never happen. She's moving in a different direction. I for one wish she would get her Broadway show up and running. She has a lot of nice material in that work.

@discoguy79 I think Fame is a great cut....considering todays market but Im 53 and I definitely experienced the Disco Age.was a fixture since I was 17 even when you were suppose to be at least 18...and as far as Im concerned Disco endend on New Years Eve 1979.....to my terrible disappointment ...and Dance Music has never filled the loss..no orchestration, little highhat,congas,etc....and few if any have the elegance of the clubs I frequented......

i just bought this album (circuit city has the cd with the extra cuts), anyway, it's great. i'm so glad to hear some new music from her. she wrote (or co-wrote) every song on the album. donna summer is so talented, a song writer, a painter, and as everyone knows, an exceptional vocalist. her voice actually sounds more perfect now than 20 years ago.

You can listen to her whole new album if you search "VH1 donna summer the leak." I wasn't all that impressed with "I'm a Fire." I thought the vocals were great, but the song was just okay. Then I heard "Stamp" and like it better. Then I heard songs on the album like "Science of Love" and "Fame" and "Sand on My Feet" and "Be Myself Again." This album is great! There are some serious gems. The woman is something amazing.
