uh yea. hold select and press start at the title screen there you can make it RAPID FIRE!...geez..... this game is a very solid shoot'em up. its challenging but not to hard.

@cyclo1224 In actuality, it is and I can agree with you on that. However, the SNES Thunder Spirits falls slightly shorter than The Genesis Thunder Force 3 though. Either way, both versions of the game are pretty good. The SNES Thunder Spirits is actually a modified port of TF3. There is an arcade version entitled Thunder Force AC which is the same as this, too!

Shoot'em ups are awesome. I thnk Ikaruga on the Gamecube is my favorite so far.

FYI, you can enable rapid-fire in Thunder Spirits. Press Select at the same time as you press Start on the title screen to access an Option screen, where you alter the controller setup, difficulty, and of course, whether to enable or disable rapid-fire.

The sound ship fidelity may not be great, but the actual composition of the soundtrack of TF3 is classic.
