Some people think retail chips are usually better batches than OEM chips and overclock better since the OEM chips usually go to Dell or HP they might be bottom binned chips. TDP may be lower, stepping may be higher on retail. Even if that's not true (and it wouldn't surprise me if it was) I think the retail CPU also has a longer warranty.

i heard in the first video that he was going to get an athlon 2 cpu.he should have bought the 550 99$ and ive seen it at 3.5 ghz with all 4 cores unlocked 6mb L3 cache over 4mb of L2 cache no brainier right? whatever its his money.
