Oh my goodnes. I have this very same arrangement. But I have a question for you. Is it hard to play because my piano instructor said it's not a good arrangement because of the left hand fingering and moving up and down so much she said it really hurts your hands...is this true because if it isn't I would like to learn to play it because it is really very beautiful. I've seen the first page of it (I wish I had it), I don't think it should hurt. The hands should not hurt. The hand usually hurts due to poor technique or not enough strength in the fingers. If the transcribed piece really did hurt the hands, I doubt anyone would play it. Maybe for her it may hurt because she might possibly have super small fingers. Nevertheless, with good technique, it shouldn't hurt.

hi there... i think the left hand fingering is fine? in fact, besides the part where the melody is played by the left hand, i should think the score is pretty normal :) and as with neogeo328, i think maybe it hurts if you have small hands?

@SkyBabe103 hey i have this arrangement as well, and i think its pretty easy actually. i like to use the proper fingering, but since the damper pedal is used throughout the song, you wouldnt need to do finger crossovers. you could just move your hand up. good luck!

@SkyBabe103 I am 11 yrs old... What your instructor told you is a lie. why i say so is bcuz i can play the left hand perfectly- up and down- my hand doesn't hurt. so he/she should get his facts straight. it is a very nice piece.

@Angel0826526 What SkyBabe103's instructor told him might not be wrong for SkyBabe. Its good that you can play it perfectly but remember that not all people are born the same some people like my cousin has really small hands so playing some pieces will be extremely hard due to fingering and the need to stretch in order to play a chord. Even though my hands are big I someimtes have trouble playing this certain song which is quite hard because it needs you to strecth beyond an octave.

The 'full' version is for three violins and a bass continuo. Unless you have many hands or a few friends, I doubt you're playing the original version.

Piano songs rate by song or level of difficulty, Altough people dont put "level 3 canon in d" in the sheet music. it just naturally comes to the mind what level of the song is played in. For example a lvl 6 i believe or 8 i forgot. is played by the left hand switching over to the right hand side. a cross over. while the right hand remain playing
