Of course IT IS KARATE!!!!! JKA HAS GOT BEST INSTRUCTORS IN THE WORLD!!!! yes, politics is everywhere, but end of the day, who's PRACTISING THE TRUE KARATE??? especially in UK??? of course NOBODY!!!! karate standard in UK IS CRAB!!! go and see proper gashuku in HUNGARY, SLOVENIA....etc there is a true spirit !!!! People coming TO PRACTICE AND NOT TALK LIKE HERE!!!! instructors like TANAKA, OSAKA, OCHI, UEKI, OHTA...etc.. At least they PRACTICE KARATE, how many people in same age practice in DOJ

THIS IS NOT KARATE! A warning from a JKA life member: I spent a long time training and teaching this activity. Because of many contradictions I saw and heard, I began a study of karate from it’s beginning; what it really is, why it was developed, how it was taught, what it’s general syllabus was. The JKA is a shell, they have eliminated much of original karate and have invalidated it as a martial art. Read comments my site, the truth is obvious through study if you are willing to see it.

@IEKUKATAKA I just cant belive that u are saying that the late great Enoeda sensei (the tiger) didnt practice karate, i know there is a difference between okinawa style and shotokan, but how kan u say that this isn`t karate?!? I`ve been training with Otha sensei and Ogata sensei an it sure feels like Karate to me.
