I would also like to point out that n95 came out in 2006 with a 5mp camera and it took iphone 4 generations to reach it in 2010 the n95 shits on 4 generations of iphone and now the inly phone that i would call compatative will be the galaxy s2
@tomasshaddad you are a idiot nokia had apps and maps gps sinse the n95 way before iphone And android devices also had a mp3 mp4 player that made video and ringtones without downloading apps and syncing also the n95 has 3g video calling iphone still hasnt got that and n95 is a old phone plus your point of it copying thats wrong is stupid because lets say it didnt have apps or camera u say the phone is stupid because iphone has aps and tskes photos
@WorldWideGameTube Why are you assuming I'm an Apple fanboy? I detest Apple and I'm not a bigoted fanboy like a majority of Nokia customers. I own a HTC DHD, an Android device. Like I said before, I don't care who made what first, and I acknowledge Nokia was the first to push out apps and the ideas you listed to the market, but Apple and Google further refined their ideas. That's called innovation, and that's something I don't see at all in these four videos. But hey, you can buy it if you want.
@tomashaddad in any case rotating maps is innovative, but even innovation shouldn't take 4 years and still have less features than a phone that came out in 2006 android crashes and lags because it requires alot of prepossessing power, also nfc is innovating for nokia, and also does the one thing other peoples phones fail to do and thats last for more than 1 day on excessive usage, sgs2 and iphone battery don't last that long, i need a phone to last me more than one day
So basically, after watching these four videos, I've taken in this much: You've copied the iPhone's packaging + app management, Android's navigation bar utilization and menu setup, Windows 7 minimalist music player, seameless screen transitions + font style (see the screen left of apps) and only just discovered the wonders of GPS. Further more, the demo looks like it lags during transitions, especially during the NFC tutorial near the end.
Definitely buying this innovative masterpiece, Nokia.
@tomashaddad Nokia has had-free of charge-gps setup their phones already, it's the new 3D rotation that's new. You also can't label it as 'copying' simply because they have their applications in rows and columns, apple didnt invent it. This navigation is the same as their previous models running on their symbian OS, so it's nothing new. I've never owned a windows OS phone, but from the ones i've used, im not going to bother because THEY actually lag. I would buy it if i had the money.
@suikoden5807 You're missing the point. The Nokia N9, now, looks like it took the best out of each major smartphone and moulded it into one. To deny that you're kidding yourself. I couldn't care less who invented what, but when I look at this phone I'm seeing features plucked from other OS's rather than something new I'd like to buy. I'm sick of phones that use these generic UI's that have existed in other handsets for years. Nokia doesn't innovate anymore and that's why their marketshare sucks.

The UI is pretty enough in 2005, while Nokia fell into sleep and has never waken up.

CLEAN YOUR FRIGGEN FINGERNAILS!!! It's disgusting.

@suikoden5807 "Nokia has had-free of charge-gps setup" Yeah but not free voice navigation! and that to me is "real" gps service.
mkrohne 5 months ago
@mkrohne Actually Nokia has had free voice navigation for some time already. Even in some sub 100 euro devices.

Nice, spinning on maps looks great. Don't remember seeing the 3D rotation look that good yet on Nokia Maps.
