people say this fight is too "silly" and not serious enough. I think thats what draws me to it though. every good fight you see in movies has firey-intense passion behind it and sometimes it gets old. in this fight, we see two very skilled fighters showing off their skill, not necessarily out of hate or dominance, but instead just for the hell of it. its very fast and very beautiful to watch. i like it

Jackie even sais Bruce will always be the best, I agree he's the best with martial arts but stunts on the other hand, Jackie is 57 still doing all his own stunts and trained in many different styles of martial arts and kung fu. @LightBrand Bigger gloves means the foam absorbs more impact of every shot you deliver. The fella in the black started with what looks like 16 oz sparring gloves, thus any hit he landed would be decently diminished while the small white gloves would hit almost full impact and just be there to stop knuckle cuts. Big gloves usually have padding on the top to help block blows better though, but the larger they are the less your hit. Glove size disparity of that kind makes a huge differnce.

@LightBrand The small gloves look like essentially bag gloves. Never use them or MMA professional gloves in a sparring match, you will wreck you opponent by the way, and they you lol! Sparring gloves are there for good reason. These guys faces would have looked like hamburger in about 20 seconds had this been for real. All in all a great Chan type match though :D I love the guy!

I love Bruce Lee man,but when it comes to fight choreo...Jackie Chan is the king.His fights are so swift and dynamic and you can almost feel the kikcs and punches land.

But I know it's not fair to compare it to Bruce's fights because they we're such a long time ago.Bruce is the reason this genre exists at all,but Jackie is a legend in his own right.

also, i noticed BJ allan's mistake in the 2nd half. he was using primarily kicks in one part. kicks are generally slower than punches, so he couldn't hit jackie chan cuz he lacked some speed. and he started getting sloppy after the "just smile"

Then the other guy replies "how do you say 'are you all okay' in english?"

You're right, but it would have taken the spectators more time to read the subtitles. So you know, the translators had to like adapt the dialogue and cut it a bit shorter so that the spectators could focus on both the dialogue and the images. It happens a lot, especially when the dialogue is long. I guess it's pretty much inevitable.
