Oh by the way, at the beginning of the boss battle you don't have to move; his fireballs will just hit the TNT barrel!

Lastly...you could have gotten DKs two other bananas! One was his blue print and the other was the barrel mini game!!!! Gah, you'll be needing to return anyways.

hey gnrfan, this would be the second time im watching your let's play, just something to do while im online. lol, i have a question for ya; have you tried any glitches in the troff&scoff room that allows you to play the boss WITHOUT paying any bananas? ;D ive tried it and its pretty easy to do, might take a bit of time to get the glitch to work but its worth it. xD ive seen the glitch off another video on here, i cant remember but whoever made the video is a smart dude lol

first time I played this game, I was with at a friends house. when he got to this boss he said to me: Could you do this boss for me? it's not difficult, but I might get epileptic seizures from the thunder.

That was no chickening out from him, cuz he did the whole jungle japes level with great ease. He just couldn't take the flashy screen.

DK64 will never come to the VC, Rareware helped develop DK64 & they own part of it but because Nintendo & Rareware are no longer working together the game can't be put on the WII VC.. Mainly because of copyright issues.. Nintendo doesn't want to get sued..

Don't forget to play--and beat the original Donke Kong game in the third level TWICE in order to get the rareware coin and the nintendo coins because you need those to get through the final level.
