i got mine trimmed, not so much but still its good for 100km/h =) it does not run if i dont give it gass its something ive taken of =/ thats the only issue
you have probably taken the idle screw out the side of the carb which sets how fast or slow the engine runs at idle, without it the idle is that low the engine wont run unless you give it some gas to keep the revs higher
motorbikemad123 same here i had a 70 top end larger carb n sports exhaust + up rated gearing n i got 70ish theres no way a standards de-rezzed will go 60
im fed up of people saying my ped does this standard..i have kundo racing top end, racing reeds, aarows race system, 13 - 51 gearing and mine tops out at around 60mph..im yet to find a ped to beat it..
i have mx50 as well, it does 65kmh with 11/51 sprockets, after im done with school i wana take out the plug from my exhaust (i aready have a leavince V6 on it) do u think ill need 12 or 13 at the front ?
You should have got a leo vince v6 them exhaust sound crap and tinny, its just the way its made. Did the exhaust sound like that when you first put it on?
sweet man. i've got an mx50 aswell. I'm planning on getting a big bore for it, so do you think i should get a new exhaust and racing clutch? You should post a vid of ur mx doing a burnout mate!!
to get the most out of your big bore kit i would get a 19 or 21mm carb, some dual stage reeds and a performance exhaust, also a racing clutch would help to transmit the extra power
is it a alumium clyinder or is it usual one. cuz if you have a aluminium clyinder you can put a 30mm carb on it. my friend did that along whit some other stuff. the thing is just flying. gotta film it and post it on youtube.
i dont see how it been alumium will make any difference as the carb manifold bolts onto the crank case and not the cylinder. Also a 30mm carb would be massive and be really hard to set up, most people normally run a 19mm or 21mm carb on the standard or big bore cylinder
aluminium clyinders are usally very tunned original. i not talking about the usual big bore clyinders. he had a 2fast4race 80cc clyinder on it. and yea most people don't have bikes tuned for races. i also have 19mm carb on my bike.
Hi, thanks for the post. I have recently bought an mx50 2005 unused. Any ideas on how to make it more powerful/more quick? At the moment it will do around 45mph around 9 thousand revs. Cheers.
