  • A ROCKET LOOKS LIKE A RUSSIAN ROCKET "SOYUZ" WITHOUT THE FIRST STAGE )))

  • NASA used to do great launches, now they do great animations.

  • @Zoomer30

The government is not funding them as much as before, Blame the government, not N.A.S.A. They'd have a manned mars mission launching around this time if they had gotten 1/10th the funding the military has had for a while.

  • imagine if there was a miscalculation in the abort system. now that would suck

  • @MrSock59 Yes that would. But the odds of that happening are very unlikely. That would be like having your back-up parachute not deploy.

  • @MrSock59 lol

  • Wait what happened? Calculation error? System malfunction? SOMEONE TELL MEH!

  • @TheRobloxian23 This is a test launch, it was intended to test the abort system (LAS). In case there is an emergency.

  • Really cool video. Very realistic animation.

  • @misium Thanks man

  • Best animation ever!!! Super HQ!! What software do you use?

  • fake!!

  • @MegaRocketLaunch It's not supposed to trick you... It's pretty obvious that this is a simulation.

  • @MegaRocketLaunch Really......

  • @556forlunch I know, right?!

  • @leoarmy88 fake but yea i guess wow

  • @MegaRocketLaunch yea... i know its fake... lol how would that be real?

  • @leoarmy88 it is very good animation to be honest though

  • 3 people didn't abort in time

  • @Enatbyte That or Obama has three other Youtube accounts haha

  • This is Incredible...Amazing! :)

  • nice at first i thot this was real lol

  • Absolutely excellent quality

  • @legohelicopter Thank you so much. I tried so hard to keep the quality.

  • Is that Ridley's music in the back? xD

  • @xxTigersnakexx Haha I have not a clue. Hope you liked the music though!

  • @Jontheking100 It really does sound like Ridley's music from the Metroid series! xD

  • Awesome animation and graphics wow, they do have the best computers. :)

  • I agree, that animation is incredible!

  • holy shit that was one of the best animations I had eer seen NICE!!

  • @Marcin6313 Ha thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

  • Apparently there were two people working for Space-X that watched this video.

  • i like it

  • atleast that seperation was successful unlike ares 1x's was

  • @777christianboy The ares 1-X separation went as planned...The purpose of this flight was see if we could actually get it into LEO. The top art of the rocket was fake/not real. It was weighted to scale. We just wanted to see if the rocket would make it up there and make it down safely. The Ares 1-Y rocket will be like what you see here, that is when you will see the "correct" separation.

  • @Jontheking100 but wasnt it sapose to seperate successfully? I herd that the booster hit the top while pulling out and the booster got a little banged up.

  • @777christianboy Oh you're talking about the lift off! Ok, yes the booster got a little banged up because they had to adjust the angle during lift off, because they didn't want it to go into orbit. Thats why it didn't go perfectly straight when it took off. But yes, it did get a little damaged. Ares 1-Y wont do that though. So over all, two things went wrong with Ares1-X. One parachute failed to deploy, and the rocket got a little banged up. Extremely successful mission though.

  • really goob work but what the name of the programme?

  • @roddyno Im sorry, but i don't know who made this video, or the name of the program...I am simply posting the video because It is amazing!

  • Brilliant work. Really well done:)

  • excellent work ! toooo goood. I think you use Maya for this great stuff?

  • Russia is better than USA in this

  • @Gamespieler Why do you say that?

  • @Jontheking100 they have not so much fails

  • @Gamespieler but they dont have as many successful missions...not even close. So ya, Russia might not have as many failures, but their failures take a higher percentage of their missions. Where as the USA, their failures only take a small fraction of their missions. So, to me, that isn't a good reason to say that Russia is better when we beat them in every thing...Besides one thing, and that is Sputnik of coarse. So as you can tell, I think USA is better in space, not just because I'm American.

  • @Jontheking100 Really good point you make about failures being a percent of missions, that just makes the most sense. But I think it's fair to say that Russia has the most recent and up to date experience with launching people on rockets into space with their Soyuz spacecraft and the United States has better experience with the shuttles.

  • @okEric89 Yes, I see where you are coming from. If only our Congress will fund the Constellation program so that we could be up to date as well.

  • @Jontheking100 It's equally important to remember that Russia and the United States collaborate with their space programs.

  • @Maxables Yes, but i think that it is also important that Russia wont have a monopoly over space.

  • @Jontheking100 I don't think you need to worry about that.

  • @Maxables Well the Monopoly in space is kinda already in progress

  • looks like the apollo rocket capsules well i guess theres been way more problems with the shuttles than there ever were with the apollo

  • the government wants to cancel this because they think it's to expensive and time consuming :(

  • @soccerkid88888 Meh...Screw the government!

  • At 0:13 It sounds like He says Oh-Amigo When He's reading back. Awesome Video, Scenario Mate..

  • The most advanced technology all over the world.

    No one can deny it.

  • Well done. Great video, excellent music. So this is what will send our astronauts up after the shuttle fleet (what is left of it) is retired?

  • @SteveWard3928 Yup, this is the new manned space flight transportation vehicle. Technology at it's best!

  • I wonder who made the song in the background

  • Great Video. Isn't this supposed to happen in 2012?

  • @tjohn6041 yup thats when it is scheduled, lets hope that all goes well to make it happen.

  • I'm optimistic that Constellation will be kept as the program of record, and if so I'll be at Kennedy watching this flight! [Apparently, the test's name is now Ares 1-X Prime, if you're interested.]

  • @Tyrannobeast Ares 1-X Prime hu? That's pretty sweet, I'll have to edit my title, thanks for the information.

  • great

  • @aerojmac Thank you much

  • freaking amazing. thnx for uploading bro i subscribed

  • @DarkPhoneixZ Thanks, the more subscribers, the merrier. Glad you liked it.

  • Wonderful job.

  • you did a phenomenal job :D

  • @Jontheking100 :) Nice!

  • WOW! What a good vid! Looks like real...Who made the video is the best! lol

  • fantastic

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Well, NASA won't launch when there is expected to be a storm. For instanse, the Ares 1-X test launch was delayed 24 hours due to weather conditions. They take everything you can imagine in consideration

  • Dude! Nice video man! really, this is the best i've ever seen!

    Great quality!

  • + 5!

  • fantastic animation, excellent job!!

  • MEANWHILE 2:26

  • I have just uploaded a video of the REAL Ares 1-X test launch, it is in great quality! Please check it out! The launch was on the 27 last Wednesday.

  • nice! now everything else looks blurry. i just realized how blurry my hands really are.

btw. great music, animation, and video.

  • Thanks! means a lot!

  • !wow.. :D

  • impressive.

  • just 11 years till we land on the moon. i hope to be on the flight

  • Lets hope! Too bad the Obama Administration wants it out :(

  • Well, the seaprimate administration wants Obama out. Looks like Kenner and I will both be on the moon mission then. haha

By the way, this video it epic, thanks for posting!

  • Haha can't wait to see you on the moon then!

Thanks, I'm glad you like the video.

  • me too ^^

  • Far out man!!

  • My gosh!!

It's Navy Helo 66 in crew capsule

    recovery ops!!

    Someone remembered...!!

  • Haha, yea! They freaking awesome!

  • For those of us who grew up on the cut and paste picture animation of the Apollo simulations, stuff like this is amazing. The networks used to run "SIMULATION" over the picture just in case you couldn't tell it was cut out drawing. :)

  • amazing cg

  • f... awesome.. nice quality

  • Thanks! I don't really enjoy posting crappy video quality. :)

  • nice quality

  • also echt richtig gut!

  • Great Video from NASA but this would be Ares-1Y , not Ares-1X!

  • umm, im pretty sure it 1-x, that is the exact title i got from NASA

  • No sry. Ares1-X makes no use of the abort system. It would be Ares-1Y ;)

  • haha, ok i believe you now

    sorry i doubted you :)

  • Ares 1 rocks!

  • Don't think its a dummy mission but a aborted mission scenario

  • Yea, i knew it was something like that, but i didn't know what to call it, i know it shows the abort system, thats pretty cool how it does that...I cant wait for the ares constellation project!

I hope it wont get cancelled
