People, see what happens in this apollo video when an asstronot is lifted quite high with a wire. It looks pathetic, because the asstronot does not so much as flinch his legs to make such a "jump". As closer they get to the right their shadows streches and gets longer. Thats because the spotlight was set not far away from the stage!!! Take a look!

it's not wind you idiots, there's very little gravitym, meaning the flasg floats. on earth when it isn't windy, the flasg falls, why would it fall down on the moon? the flasg is floating, ot waving!
You are a bit wrong in what you said. The flag on the moon doesn't fall down because there is a pole in the top of the flag. Otherwise, the flag would fall down like it does on Earth (but with 1/6 the gravity of Earth.) So the flag is moving because of the principle of angular momentum (when the astronaut twist the pole back and forth).
and also, to add on to you, in space, for example, when yout hrow a ball, it'll keep going and never stop. so whatever way the flag moved when we twisted the pole, it'll keep moving. to look like its waving. if your agreeing with me, that its not wind. then thanks!

One, due to low gravity on moon you have to bounce instead of walking

i wont deny that some things are illogical (the c-rock for example) but some of these arguments are backed by common misunderstanding (the waving flag, it happened, and if u go to the moon and put a flag down it will happen again. the lack of stars in the pictures, etc) and a possible coincidence (the c-rock)
i will not say that this is true 100% guaranteed, based on the facts that the US is the only country to walk on the moon and i have not been there personally to tell you

im sorry to say that according to physics, the flag most certainly would not move. although they do have a stand on it that keeps it up. im not sure and i dont see why it matters whether or not people landed on the moon because what would we have discovered? i dont think it would have been very much. whether it was real or not this was a historic moment at the time, and it will stay that way forever no matter what hoax some people (possibly including myself) believe in.

There is nothing about the movement of the flag in this video that is wrong for being on the moon. With no atmosphere and little gravity, it takes longer for the flag to finally settle down after all the jiggling from the astronauts. Maybe that's what you were trying to indicate, but you went on as if you possibly believe it was a hoax. I'm not getting it.

for 1 the moon does have gravity, every planet or moon in the universe does or else it wouldnt exist because all the dirt would just float away. It is impossible to fake a moon landing because it is impossible to block the earths gravity. they are obiously on a surface with far less gravity. but you cannot duplicate that on earth . thats why nasa trains underwater, its as close to being weightless as you can get, other than being in a wind tunnel, and they are clearly not in a wind tunnel

In which direction should fall a shadow under such conditions? In every direction? Just check for yourself and place an object on a light bulb. You won't see shadow from the object directly on the light bulb.

Or maybe it is because of the uneven nature of the terrain the astronauts are standing on. A small rise would shorten and distort the shadow, without any need for a studio.

Is it really possible to plant a flag on the moon surface as shown in the video? They managed to plant it firmly into the ground with their first try. There is no soil, mud or water on the moon surface. There is a thin layer of moon dust on the moon surface. Below the dust layer is solid rock. What is holding the flag pole straight up like that considering that most of the mass of the flag is off center?

S-vector uploaded this same video, only it showed about 30 minutes, (speeded up). It's interesting how some people will post a video like this and stop it right where the flag stops swinging. I guess that's because the next 20 minutes, it's solid as a rock.
This video actually proves it was on the moon. The flag is obviously fabric and would not have swung for nearly that long after being handled, unless it was in a vacuum. At correct speed it is also consistent with the moon's gravity.

If you look at the flag it does not appear as a flag on the earth. It is held up by a line or something that carries it up. If the flag is wagging someone of the austronauts touches it., but not necessary. I believe that the gravity ( one sixth of the earths ) can make the flag wagg.

Many of our American flag customers asked what condition the flag is in now. According to our estimates this nylon flag would have faded to white within a very short time due to the exposure of the sun. The nylon in itself has probably disintegrated to dust due to the temperature changes and UV radiation. Unfortunately the American flag no longer flies on the moon. Hopefully the X Prize Foundation and its participants will resolve this quickly by planting a new American flag.

Secondly, you do not need a massive telescope to scout the surface of the moon, the Hubble telescope is large(ish) but it can monitor stars several BILLION light years away.

You are a bit wrong in what you said. The flag on the moon doesn't fall down because there is a pole in the top of the flag. Otherwise, the flag would fall down like it does on Earth (but with 1/6 the gravity of Earth.) So the flag is moving because of the principle of angular momentum (when the astronaut twist the pole back and forth).
